What have you never done? ( I borrowed this meme idea from my blogging
friend Shelly http://shellysm.blogspot.com.au/)
For the list of things I have never done or never want to do would be a
bloody long one since I am a boring stick in the mud............lol That said I
will share with you a few things I have never done or want to do such as.
Drink Coffee, I hate the smell of it and the taste of it...................
Eat Seafood, I also hate the smell and taste of it and yes I have tired it
but I do not like seafood
Skydive, I have a fear of open heights
Visit Asia, Just not somewhere I want to go
Go Bungee-jumping, Can't see the point also as said I am scared of open
heights
However, there are a few things I have never done but
would like to do or try or visit such as
Travel Australia, This is a great country and I want to
see more of it
Live long enough to have great grandchildren
Go Blonde, I often wonder what I would look like as a blonde
Ok that is all I can think of how sad is
that..................................
I am so with you on coffee- much as I love the smell, I will never drink it!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the things you want to try- what would Tim say about you going blonde?
Tim reckons if I was blonde I would look more like my mother.......lol I have often wanted to buy a blonde wig, I remember my mother having a couple of wigs when I was a child
DeleteAh! Blonde..try that one out :) first try a hair piece to see what it looks like. I went with blonde highlights first, then to total blonde with no brass colour - can't stand brass, and I had very black hair at that time, have been blonde for years now..well/grey/blonde now.
ReplyDeleteIf I could afford it I would but since I have no income of my own and no money it is really a bit difficult.
DeleteDearest Jo-Anne,
ReplyDeleteOh, please please♡♡♡ Japan is a great coutry for you to see and I still feel wish to visit many places I haven't like you said p;)
And blonde must be becoming to you, my friend!!!
Lots of love and hugs from sis-city in Japan, xoxo Miyako*
I know this will sound strange but I don't think of Japan as being part of Asia even though I know it is to me Japan is a more exciting country the an Asian country...........see I am strange.......lol
Deletei love coffee but am also afraid of heights. also love asia. you should blog about your family more. except for Tim you haven't blogged about the girls or g/kids much lately. i know you've been sick so that's understandable. hope you are feeling better. :)
ReplyDeleteYes I have a few blog posts in mind about the family in fact today's post is turning into a bit of a ramble about the family.......lol
DeleteI am with you on the skydiving and bungee jumping but I could never go without my coffee.
ReplyDeleteAnd tomorrow I am heading to Thailand and can not wait.
Like you also, I really want to travel more in Aus. I still have so much to see here
I hope you have a great time in Thailand it is hard to explain why some place just don't interest me but then I guess most people have places they just have no interest in visiting for me it is Asia
DeleteI hate open heights also! Love travelling.
ReplyDeleteI would love to travel more if only we could afford it
Deletewell you cant control when the greats get there, and i know travelling takes money but you could go blonde! if that's too permanent why not go with friends or your daughters for a "girls" day you could try on great clothes and take pics and a blonde wig just to see. that way you can study the pic and see what you think before any decisions are made, but i wanna see the pics too! i think it's be a hoot!
ReplyDeleteas far as your list i LOVE fish/shrimp but the rest i agree with. australia and new zealand are actually tops for my travel dreams! i'd also love to publish a book, open an art gallery, and go live with a shaman in peru for a year to study.
No it will be years before I have great grandchildren since my grandchildren are only young.......lol If I could travel more I would love it but I will take what I can get for now and I would love a blonde wig I think that would be the easiest way to go blonde if I could only afford to buy one........lol
DeleteLaurie would go along with you on the seafood, and I definately agree on the bungee jumping!
ReplyDeleteI would be so scared of the rope breaking if I went bungee jumping......lol and my luck it would......lol
DeleteI'm afraid of heights, too.
ReplyDeleteAs far as traveling--I'd be lucky to make it back down to Minneapolis one day--LOL!
How can anybody hate coffee! ;)
I hope you get to travel around Australia and see your great grandchildren. As far as the blonde thing goes--I agree--try getting it highlighted first and see if you like it. You might! What the heck! You only live once, right? :)
I try to think postive I will live a long and happy life and I will get to travel around this great country one day when Tim retires maybe...........lol Life is be lived and enjoyed
DeleteYou are right. That bucket list is lacking. LOL I think if you were feeling better you would come up with a lot more things you still want to do yet. :) BTW - being blonde is not all they say it is. Stay the way you are. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go Europe and travel more.
