2011 Round Up

Today is the last day of 2011 and like most people I have thought about what a year it has been, for the most part it has been a pretty good year yes there has been some bad bits but I have put those bits behind me and I am only looking to the future.

In 2011 “My Blain” started school and he is such a big boy now, his first year of school went mostly well although in the last term of the year he did get into trouble at school a bit he had detention half a dozen times and even made a teacher cry one day by just not listening to her and throwing things around the room. I think his problem was that his mum had started working and was working everyday and not being there when he go home from school, his Aunty Kathy was picking him up from school most afternoons and she was taking him to school a couple of times a week also.....then there was the times when Natasha lost track of time and wasn't there to pick him up from school and it wasn't till the school rang her wanting to know why no one was there to get Blain and of course this would upset him very much.......................I think it made him feel as if his mum didn't love him as he is only just turned 6yrs old on the 12-12-11.

As everyone knows Little Leo has had some problems with throwing things and hitting staff at his day care, I am hoping that 2012 is a better year for him and that he also starts using the toilet in 2012, as it is very frustrating him still being in pull ups at nearly 4 yrs of age he will be 4 on the 8-1-12

Also in 2012 my beautiful granddaughter Sydney-May will start day care she will be attending the same day care that Leo goes to, she will only be going one day a week while her mum is at work. Sydney-May will be 2 on the 22-1-12.

My nephew Dawson will be starting high school in 2012 but he will only be going to the high school 2 days a week the other 3 days a week he will still attend “Wakefield” school which is the behavioural school he goes to. In 2011 he did really well at Wakefield and received an award for being the most improved student of the year. I hope 2012 is another good year for him and he continues to improve at school.

Now some of you may be wondering how I will see the new year in, well I think I will be alseep by the time 2012 arrives. I do have Leo for the afternoon and night and I told his mum that I was not happy with the fact that she expected me to have him from midday. I agreed to have him for the night but I was expecting her to drop him off sometime late this afternoon but no she was here when I got home at midday and wanted to leave asap and of course she did but I did make her know that I wasn't happy.

Anyway I hope all my online friends have a great day/night and an even better 2012........................

Good Morning How Are YOU

Morning, how are you? I hope you are making time for yourselves. This is a hectic time of the year and sometimes it is easy not to make ' special' quiet time just for YOU. You 'are' important and sometimes it is easy to forget that and focus on everyone else. So, take some time out and relax. You will feel so much better. Try it. For one hour, turn off you phone/s, don't answer the door, forget the notifications for emails and just relax. If you absolutely cannot do it now, plan it so that you can do it. Your needs are as important as everyone else and relaxing really will recharge your batteries and you really will feel better.

Nothing Much To Share So I Will Share A Joke

Guess who is coming for the night..................yes it's Little Leo now who amongest you are surprised I bet no one is because it's Wednesday and that means Leo spending the night. His mum said she would be dropping him off around lunch time and will pick him up sometime tomorrow afternoon because she needs a break from him. He will also be here New Years Eve which is Saturday night lucky me.............

Tim is working this afternoon and tonight so it will be just me and Leo for most of the night I do hope he goes to bed at a reasonable time. 

Kathy still has problems with her roof leaking she says everytime she has a shower she worries that the floor will collapse and she will end up in the laundry...............she has rang and complained again about it but at this stage they cannot tell her how long it will take to get it fixed...............

Since I don't have much to share at this time I will share this joke with everyone............................

Dear Ex-Husband Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true you & I have been married for 7 years, although a good man is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining & griping Too bad that doesn’t work. I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the 1st thing that came to mind was ‘You look just like a girl!’ Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can’t say something nice, I didn’t comment. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork 7 years ago. About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, & I prayed it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed $50 from me that morning. After all of this, I still loved you & felt we could work it out. So when I hit the lotto for 10 million dollars, I quit my job & bought us 2 tickets to Jamaica But when I got home you were gone.. My Christmas Day

Yesterday I spent the day doing nothing much except watching telly and searching for my camera which Leo had lost, this morning I was taking rubbish out to the bin and what do I see laying in the yard but my camera, I have been able to get the photos taken on Christmas Day from it but it will not take photos now as it got wet last night and the night before yes it was outside for two night........so now I will be asking hubby for a new camera I do not know what he will say about it somehow it will end up being my fault that the camera was left outside......................................

Ok it’s Christmas morning and for the first time in what feels like ages I had a good night’s sleep and Little Leo didn’t wake up till 7am which was good.

I had wanted to do a post yesterday but it took me 4 hours to get through reading and commenting on blogs with all the interruptions so in the end I just didn’t feel like it………………lol

I have included some before and after photos some taken last night and the after taken this morning after Leo had opened his presents. He got a Christmas sack of toys and a small Christmas stocking of toys which when he saw the little one he told me he had to get the little one too as it all wouldn’t fit in the big one, he sounded so cute when he said it.

He also got presents for nanna & papa and of course from mummy, we do not let Santa get all the credit for presents………lol

A Leak and I Get Over Ruled.................But Such Is Life

Boy have I been busy the last two days and have ended up going to bed exhausted and to make matters worse I am not sleeping that great I have woken up so many times during the night it is not funny, I don’t know if it has anything to do with the fact that the last two nights we have had a grandson sleeping with us. I know if Jessica asks to stay tonight I will be saying no even if it does upset her although I don’t think she will ask………………..

Either tonight or tomorrow afternoon/night I will have to wrap up the last of the Christmas presents I keep telling myself to do it but I end up still not doing anything.

Today I went and picked up my false teeth boy do they feel odd, but I guess it will take time for me to get use to them at this stage I think I will only wear them when I am eating, as that is all I really need them for………………….lol

Yesterday afternoon Kathy rang me to tell me that water was dripping from the roof in her laundry, the leak is over the light fixture and this morning a plumber came out and he couldn’t find out where the leak was coming from. So she still has the leak and doesn’t know how long it will take for it to be fixed. This time of year is not a good time to need repairs done; at least she doesn’t have to pay the repair bill. Her house is beginning to smell due to the leak. Because she was stuck at home while the plumber was there she asked me to go to the shops for her to get her a loaf of bread which I did and of course it was very crowded and of course it will be just as bad tomorrow. I do not know how Kathy is going to cope tomorrow as she doesn’t do well with crowds. 

I was wrong Jessica asked to stay until after Christmas and I said no so now she is a little annoyed with me but she will get over it and I told her she can stay tomorrow night, why because I am a softy……………………….lol

Hubby just walked into the lounge room and I told him about Jessica wanting to stay and that I said no and he said why no he misses Leo and why can't they stay so I ended up ringing her and telling her I was over ruled by her dad and that they can stay...............
