Keys

Do you have adult children?
I do

Do they all have keys to your home?
Mine do

Can they let themselves in whenever they want?
Mine can

Take whatever they need when they need it and leave a note telling you so
Mine do

I have keys to my parents house have always done since I was given a key when I was 18, my brother and youngest sister also have keys but my other two sisters don't,why you ask well they left home before they were given keys.

Tim said when he was a teenager he had a key to his mum's house but when he left home his mum took the key back.

  3. Dagan and Leah have a key. But they have probably come unannounced twice in the five years I have lived here or the eleven years I lived in the place before this and those times were for a pleasant surprise visit. :)

  4. Dearest Jo-Anne,
Well, we never had a key as we live that far away and even before that, I've never had one either but knew the spot where they kept their key, just in case.
It is a wonderful thing to have mutual trust and creating a 'home' feeling!
    Hugs,

  7. Mine don't have keys, it's never come up. I would have no problem if it were so, though.

  8. My boys have not only always had keys to our house, but they have garage door openers and the code to our garage keypad so they can always get in no matter what.
They not only take whatever they want, but we have lockers in our laundry room and I often put things in their lockers for them if I see something they like while I'm out and about.

  9. All my sons,3, have keys to the house and I have gone to my daughter-i-law as well. They can come and go when they need to. They know the burglar alarm code too. My cat would love to see any one of the 4. :-)
