Books Listened to in 2023

As many people would know I listen to audio books downloaded from my local library, I use to listen to audio books when I was driving but when I stopped driving I  stopped doing it then a few years back I started to have trouble holding a book and reading it and due to Covid I wasn't able to visit a library I took to downloading Eaudiobooks and this is something I enjoy and I do get through a lot each year as you can tell.  This is 2023's list of books listened to,

    1. I started keeping a list a few years back and think it is a good idea as I get through a lot of boos in a year

  2. Looks like we would like a lot of the same kind of books. That's a good long list! :)

    1. Thanks I am venturing into the unknown with some authors

  3. I have _read_ your last three listed books and thought they were excellent. But are audio presentations as satisfying to the listener? I like the words being read with my own accent, for example.

    1. I find it satisfying listening to books although I use to love "reading" a book but not so easy to do now days so I have adjusted

    1. I find a list helps when I am not sure if I have heard a book or not I just check the list, instead of getting a little bit into a book realising I have read it and stop.

  5. That is a lot of books! How do you download them? Onto a computer, iPad, or another device?

    1. I download to my laptop and play them through the computer, I use to listen via my tablet but when it died I switched to the laptop which I like as I listen to a book while I am blogging of a morning.

  6. You certainly have read quite a few then Jo-Anne, but that's good you enjoy doing that.

  7. This is one impressive list, Jo-Anne! I gather you really enjoy Upfields' writing. I am unfamiliar with the author, but will look him up.
    Blessings!

  8. Wow, you did a lot of reading this past year! I have tried to get back to more reading, less phone time and did read 32 books last year. Wishing you a happy new year!

    1. 32 books sounds like a good number to me, reading helps me learn stuff as well as I don't always listen to pure fiction
