Here it is Sunday I am feeling better
than I did yesterday although I am still in pain just not as much
pain and the headache isn't as bad as it was yesterday. I was up at
6am with Leo and went for my morning work and since then I have
answered 3 letters and went out with Jessica to get fish & chips
for lunch.
Sometime this afternoon I will have to
do the ironing and weekly medications and I want to find the money to
get some more soft drink tomorrow on Tuesday I thought I bought
enough for the week but I was wrong I now know I will run out by
either Tuesday or Wednesday.
So let's talk about something a little
more interesting then my boring hum drum life, but what is more
interesting let me think for a bit.......................
Ok today it is hard to think of
something that you might find interesting but I will keep trying. Ok
I have nothing of interest to talk about so let's move onto something
not interesting but different instead.
Can you sew? Do you know how to use a
sewing machine?
I suck at sewing with a sewing machine,
I find them to complicated to use, I am not useless though I can use
a needle and thread to hem clothes and replace buttons which is
something right. I remember my mum using a sewing machine when I was
young to make different things and I used one at school but I was
never very good at sewing and haven't used a sewing in years.
Tim was the one who did the sewing on a
sewing machine in this house, right up till he some how managed to
break his sewing machine, although he blamed other people for doing
so. In fact he has always done the sewing many years ago when we
first met he was a canvas machinist and a damn good one at that.
I can run the box-x machine at work... and I can put a button on a shirt by hand... other than that, I prefer to keep my fingernails away from sharp, fast moving objects. Glad you are feeling better. Sucks to have that hit you on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI get that, Tim has run over his finger a few times with a sewing machine when he used one every day at work
DeleteI can hand sew semi well, but I can't use a sewing machine. I've always wanted to learn though! But, needles moving at an alarming rate makes me a little nervous.. I'd hate to accidentally sew myself!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I thought it would be good to learn to use a sewing machine but as I have got older I just can't be bothered
DeleteDear Jo-Anne, I read today's posting and the one from yesterday. Your headache sounds like a migraine. Do you get them often? I take Maxalt MLT 10 mg tablets for these headaches. The medication is manufactured in the UK and it's Rizatriptan Benzoate orally disintegrating tablets. They really help me. They are a prescription drug. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI use to get migraines a lot but in the last few years they have reduced in frequency. However, once the BGL's are sorted out if the headaches continue I will be going back to the doctor asking for something to help them
DeleteI like my sewing machine, but I can't read a pattern to save my life. My mom is an incredible seamstress, but I never learned. I can sew simple things, and quilts, as long as it's of my own design, but all those little figures and definitions on sewing patterns escape me. Glad you're feeling a little better anyway!

I can't even sew simple things on a sewing machine, maybe if I had stuck to it after I left school I would know how but I didn't and that boat has sailed..........
