Time for some Aussie Slang,
Pigs Arse: I don't agree with you, you're exaggerating or bullshiting me
Pozzy: A place to sit
Prezzy: A present or gift
Rack off: Get lost
Ratbag: A mild insult meaning you're a fool or idiot
Thursday's post can be found here: https://jamfn.blogspot.com/2024/11/is-this-brown-hodgepodge.html
Yes, they are all expressions we still use regularly. But pig's arse is not the rudest measure of disagreement with someone .
ReplyDeleteI agree
DeleteThe only one I had heard of was prezzy. :)
ReplyDeleteOne out of five isn't too bad
DeleteStill laughing at Pig's Arse. May have to use that...
ReplyDeleteMy all means do so
DeleteI remember my mother saying pig's arse once, she never swore or used to use those words Jo-Anne, but something must have got her going..lol
ReplyDeleteYeah I can remember someone in the family using the term but who it was I can't recall
DeleteRack off... that's what I might have understood :-))
ReplyDeleteI traveled to Warners Bay with google... a bit of sun every now and then and 22 degrees, wonderful :-)) it's 7 degrees here and I'm just having breakfast... now.
I wish you a happy evening and send you lots of warm greetings and a hug. Viola
Rack off is a term I have used a lot over time not as rude as saying piss off. We are in for a warm day here
DeleteYeah! I heard of all these slangs.
ReplyDeleteWell that's good
DeleteOh MY! At least if I go, I'll know what they're saying to me.
ReplyDeleteWhich is something
DeleteI am always amazed by these slang words.
ReplyDeleteThese words are often just said without giving them much thought
