Dropkick: Idiot or loser


Divvy Van: Police van which has a cage at the back also known as a Padddy Wagon


Jug: Electric Kettle

  1. A dropkick used to be a very skilful sporting move. Although I still use it to mean dumb arse, I wonder why the expression lost its implication of skill.

  3. I've heard of a Paddy Wagon. That's pretty common over here--but not the others.
