Good morning here we are at Thursday so here is this weeks word.
Obeisance: Deferential respect
A gesture expressing deferential respect, such as a bow or curtsy
I am kicking off the week with some photos of the decorations around my house, I don't do much but I do more the others in the family.
That one I knew. I was a devoted and heavy reader since I was about 9 or 10 until Netflix and then my wonky eye troubles that make it a lot hard to read the wavy print. I know words like this but don't know how to pronounce them because I have never heard them used in real life--LOL!
ReplyDeleteThere are many words I know but cannot pronounce either, I have always loved reading but usually listen to audiobooks now due to finding it difficult sometimes to read more then a few pages.
DeleteCan't remember hearing that one Jo-Anne...learnt something today.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to learn something
DeleteYes!
ReplyDeleteA greeting to you. I wish you a nice day.
Thank you most of my days are nice
DeleteI am well acquainted with that word, Jo-Anne.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Well that is good to hear
DeleteA very nice word, obeisance. Kind of like obese, only different.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I knew it, too. Comic book writers like to have big bad guys demand it.
