Good
morning world what a lovely morning for gross Tuesday this weeks
gross facts come to you from, ME, come on you didn't think I would
say someone else........
Termites
first appeared around the time of the dinosaurs, how do they know
that.
Solider
termites have such huge jaws they cannot feed themselves, so they are
fed by worker termites.
Worker
bees are sterile females that usually do not lay eggs.
Bees
dance to communicate with each other, often to explain where to find
food.
The
honey bee stores the pollen it collects from flowers in pouches
behind its legs
Ok
not very gross facts this gross Tuesday.
No, they weren't as gross, but still interesting. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to collect termite nests from the rubber tree estates to feed our ducklings and chickens when I was young staying in the village. Now we have to have checks on our houses for signs of termites.
ReplyDeleteInteresting and mostly I didn't know those facts.
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't checked in in a few days - it was Andy's graduation and we had company.
ReplyDeleteI love those facts about bees and termites - they don't have to be gross to me to find interesting.
