Rain, rain and a bit more rain that is what the weather is like here but it could be worse I could be living in an area that has flooding. http://au.news.yahoo.com/full-coverage/qld-floods/a/-/article/15965804/live-coverage-queensland-flood-crisis/
At least it isn’t stinking bloody hot too………………..lol that said it is not cold either mostly it is just pleasant heat wise.
Yesterday I went over to my parents place for lunch as it is mum’s birthday on Wednesday, I took her present over as well I bought her some garden gnomes that she can place in her pot plants and fill with water and they will water her plants for her. She was very happy with them and I hope they work well for her; they are going away for a few days next month so she said it will be good to see how they go while she is away.
Tim has gone to Sydney to day to see his sister; he also took his brother with him so he didn’t expect me to go with him. I am a little worried about him driving in such bad weather, even though I know he will not be driving like an idiot I still worry.
That is some very wet weather you all are having- hopefully it won't turn into flooding for you. That was a very thoughtful gift for your mom- I'm sure they will be a great thing for her plants!ReplyDelete
Thankfully I do not live in an are that floods, mum said she is very happy with the watering gnomes but only time will tell how well they work.........Delete
Rainin' here too, very lightly though.ReplyDelete
Thankfully the rain has seemed to stop where I am and we don't live in an area that floodsDelete
Those floods in Queensland are just awful.ReplyDelete
We had a touch of rain today but nothing extreme.
Not even enough really to soak the garden.
Hope your weather clears to some nice days this week
I agree all the flooding in Queensland is aweful Tim has some family in that area but doesn't talk to them very often so no idea how they are fairingDelete
Fire and floods, that's our country...but hard to take when it happens...no rain down here.ReplyDelete
Sure is this country we have gone from one extreme to anotherDelete
The world's weather has just gotten so unusual. We are still in a drought here in the middle part of America. Typically, it should be freezing with snow here in January but today will be 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I wish the rain would come over here.ReplyDelete
I agree the world's weather is all screwed up, and here we have gone from fire to floods just beyond a jokeDelete
I love a good rain. THose garden gnomes sound pretty cool--hope they work!ReplyDelete
I also hope the gnomes work it will make things easier for mum, I love overcast raining days if I do not have to go out in it and we don't have a week of such weather......Delete
The weather is so weird at the moment, its hard to know what to do.ReplyDelete
It is terrible when you do not know what to wear long clothes or short clothes it is often we get dressed in the wrong type of clothes end up being hot or coldDelete
We have rain the next couple of days, too- but then it drops to a high of 17F! Wanna trade?ReplyDelete
No even though I complain at times about the weather I do think generally we have good weather hereDelete
Wow, I hope the rain didn't or won't turn into flood in your area. It is kind of strange to hear the flooding from you beause I know how your country for it... Take Care of Yourself when the heat comes back, my friend.
I really am happy that your mother liked the present(*^_^*) Thoughtfulof you♡♡♡
Lots of love and hugs from sis-city in Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Yeah it doesn't flood were I am which is good, well it hasn't yet.........lol Even though it has been raining a bloody lot it has still been pretty hot hasn't stopped us having the air con goingDelete
Oh I hope you don't get flooding. People here are still trying to get over the hurricane we had three months ago! Stay safe!and happy birthday to your momReplyDelete
It has never flooded were we are, but some parts of the state and in Queensland are not so lucky it is terrible.Delete
Rain is never fun to drive in - where I live it rains constantly and we get a few floods a year, but luckily nothing horrible to where you have to stay at home.ReplyDelete
Hope it doesn't flood and that Tim has a safe commute!
I really hate driving in bad weather if it is heavy rain or strong winds the I would prefer to stay home as that type of weather doesn't usually last very longDelete
i have a gift for you on my blog today http://www.everydaylifes.com/2013/01/the-liebster-award.htmlReplyDelete
Going over to check it out nowDelete
