This and That

Another busy day here in Jo-Anne’s life although I did manage to sleep into 7am funny there was a time I wouldn’t have thought of 7am as a sleep in but when I am usually up at 6or 6.30 then it does feel like a sleep in. Tomorrow I will be up early again as I have to drive to Jessica’s place to pick Leo up and take him to day care as her car is still at the mechanics no idea yet what is wrong with it or how much it is going to cost………………………grrrr

The parcel I was expecting arrived today, so I am feeling much better and talked to mum about what else I can get dad so have a plan with that.

Also tomorrow I will be going with mum to see nan as it is Wednesday and she also wants to pop up to Wakefield school to drop of a Christmas present for Dawson’s teacher and the principal. On the topic of Christmas presents I pissed off my daughter Kathy this afternoon she rang and asked me if I wanted to go shopping with her and I said no I didn’t want to go out again oh well she will get over it.

After a cool day here yesterday it has been warm again today and tomorrow will be hotter at this stage they are saying we will have a bloody hot Christmas Eve and a much cooler Christmas Day but we will see.

I guess tomorrow if I get time I will have to wrap some more presents yes more presents it is a wonder that Tim hasn’t said anything this year about how many presents I have bought not that complaining would change anything……………..lol

Today I picked up my printer but haven’t tried it out yet may get around to doing that tomorrow, Tim bought a new printer for his computer but since his new laptop doesn’t have a cd drive he had to download the program for it from the internet but I still can’t get it work so he may have to buy a cd drive and see how that works out…………….

  1. I know we all have said it so many times before, but you really are such a good mum/nanna to all your family, Jo-Anne. I love it that your mum wanted to stop by to give Dawson's teacher and Principal a present. Your kind heart must take after her! Also glad that your parcel arrived. Don't forget to make some time for yourself in amongst the bussle of your life!

    1. Thank you and yeah I think I take after my mum, I did up 4 small gifts for some of the staff at the day care for Leo to give them, although he wanted to give everyone a gift but I limited it to only 4,

  2. That would be sleeping in for me too. I've been waking up at 3:20, maybe I should play those numbers and I'll be rich? I'm glad there have been no complaints about the gifts. Sometimes, it's just good to give!

  6. I know what you mean about getting an extra hour of sleep feels like sleeping in. When you get a chance to break routine a bit, it's a treat.

I like a lot of things about the holidays but I dread wrapping gifts. My husband says he will do the wrapping if I may the bows. I am totally good with that.

    Have a great day.
