Just A Monday

Today I have managed to catch up on my mail I now only have 1 letter left to answer but I bet that will change tomorrow when I check the post office box.......lol

I had both Blain and Sydney-May here all day, as their mothers had to work and I have to say I am glad they have gone home now as I am feel just so worn out.....................I also have had Tim home today at this stage he doesn't have any work till Friday.

So I spent a fair amount of time playing with the grandkids but do have to say Blain didn't like it much when I was playing with Sydney instead of him.

He wants to go to Sydney to see his sister and step father some time this week but at this stage he hasn't decided which day he is going I said I could go with him on my one free day this week, which should be tomorrow but he said he may take the motor bike down if it stops raining. Doesn't bother me either way.

It looks like I will have Blain here again tomorrow and he will be here tomorrow night as well and his mum is talking about us having him on New Years Eve as well, and we will also have Leo on New Years Eve and I know Tim will not be of any help with to me as he will more then likely be drunk or working..................

  3. Oh Jo-Anne, you are such a blessing in your childrens' and grandchildrens' lives. They are, indeed, very lucky to have you. It is tiring when you are looking after them, no matter how much we love them and love having them! Thank you for the lovely e-card my friend.

  4. Hopefully they'll have great memories of the time they have spent with you even though there is a bit of jealousy.

I know what you mean about being relieved when they go home, as much as I love my niece she needs my full attention all the time, it get tiring.

  5. I wish my kids had had a grandmother like you around. I worry that maybe your children take advantage of you a bit, but it sure would have helped me to have a break occasionally with help from a grandma. I admit I thought it was funny when you said Tim would be drunk or working. Sounds kind of like my ex-husband, but it was gambling or working.

    Love,
    Lola
