Today I went and picked up these photos which we had done a couple of weeks ago. I think they look good I love the one of mum & dad looking at each other, the look on dad’s face is one of love for the woman he has been with for over 50 years.
I personally do not think I look that good but I rarely do not like the way I look in photos…………………
Yes I know my friends and family will say I look good but I do not see it…………………….....
Lovely family shots. We rarely are happy with ourselves in photos, funny that. Your mum looks very youthful.Who are the others in the family shot.?

Great pics---all of them. Yes, of course you do not like the way you look, do any of us ever like our own photo? I think you look just great and I love the shot of you and your mom.

ReplyDeletei used to feel the same way about photos of myself (and, really still do most of the time). but, then i decided that i was cheating myself and my family members by not letting myself be in photos. you can look back at years worth of christmas photos and i'm not in any of them. vacation photos and, where's teresa - oh, she's the one WITH the camera. Even though I'm fat, i'm not attractive, and i don't like how i look in photographs, i suck it up and participate. when i'm gone, i want my grandkids to be able to look back and see that i loved them enough to have my picture taken with them. after all, they don't care how i look, if i'm fat or thin, good hair or bad, etc. they just care that they love me.
Wonderful family photos - I think we all don't completely like ourselves in photos! Me included :)

These are lovely pictures, Jo-Anne and my favourite one of you is the one of your Mum and you together. That really is a super picture of both of you!
ReplyDeleteI am in agreement with what everyone else has said...who does actually like themselves in photos, in general? It's the same when we hear ourselves speaking on a recorder.
Lovely family photos, thank you very much for sharing them. I feel the same about my own picture, I enjoy taking photos of others but don't enjoy posing in front of the camera ;) Nice photos!
