Here are this weeks facts..........
Until 1965, driving in Sweden was done on the left side of the road. The change over was done on a weekday at 5pm, this was supposed to prevent people from waking up in the morning and forgetting which side of the road to drive on..........I wonder how that went............
Turtles can live for 100 years
The Cicada, an insect spends 17 years of its life sleeping, it wakes for just two weeks during which it mates and dies.

Yikes, Jo-Anne. You have to be careful since you are always slipping out of bed. I hope your bed isn't one of those really high ones. I once read most fatal accidents are home accidents.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the snakes - that doesn't make me feel any better. Snakes are cool if they are far away from me. And knowing me, if there was a poisonous snake in my yard, he'd get me from sensing my intense fear.

Well my husband has fallen out of bed several times on these past 5 years, and he's still alive :) He dreams and says he's running after someone..lol
The cicadas have a funny life cycle.
ReplyDeleteI always find your facts quite interesting! I knew about cicadas; right now they seem to be at their peak in our area and my goodness, they're deafening in the evenings!

Although I've never been hit by lightening, when I was growing up my house was . . . twice.
ReplyDeleteMy house has been hit twice by lightening too. One time it came in through the electrical outlet and set my wall on fire.
