Morning world are a morning person..........I am

Good morning world, I had planned to do a post yesterday but I was so tired that I ended up going back to bed for a nap at midday, I told Tim to wake me after and 1 ½ hours but he didn't he said he thought he would let me sleep longer and woke me after 2 ½ hours.

After getting up I just had no motivation to do anything and ended up spending the afternoon sitting with my feet up watching telly.

Saturday night I had one of those strange dreams where I dream about dreaming in fact it was a dream about dreaming in which I was having a dream a bit confusing I know. I woke up really tired Sunday (yesterday) and I wonder if it was because of the strange and confusing dream.

Oh well moving on this morning I was still in bed asleep when Jessica and Leo turned up, good thing I am one of those people who can wake up and jump straight out of bed an d be with it right off the bat.

My own mother isn't like she seems to me to take a while to get going of a morning, same can be said for my dad he takes a while to get going of a morning.

I love being awake early in the morning and having the time to do things in a nice and quiet house, so I usually get up before Jessica and Leo get here of a morning so I can get some things done before they arrive.

So here is today's question to all my good blog friends are you a morning person, can you jump out of bed get dressed straight off the bat and fell ready to face the day.

Do you like the quiet of a morning before the rest of the family are up and making noise.

Or are you someone who drags themselves out of bed struggle to make a coffee and really don't find their body or brain in gear till after a coffee and have had time for the body to fully wake up.

  1. I am alert if I am woken up, but I am more of a night person. I could tell because I resented the lists--the morning people had all positive things and the night person list had half negatives. Obviously written by a morning person. ;)

    1. I am alert no matter what time I am woken up it could be 3am and I will still be with it and yeah I think the list was written by a morning person as well

  2. I am NOT a morning person. I like to have some quiet time to myself before everyone gets up. I drink my coffee and catch up with email and reading stuff on the internet. Even my kids have become late sleepers during the summer and stay up late at night.

    1. That quiet time before the family get up is wonderful, I find even when I can sleep in I still wake early which is annoying

  4. Dearest Jo-Anne,
    Yes, I too was up at 6:00 AM this morning to catch up with my blogs... I was way behind because so much excitement over Friday and Saturday. I too had bad dreams on Thursday and Friday, worrying about my Australian family that was flying back home. Did read all the Aussie newspapers, checking for names of victims. To my relief I found this video with my cousin Elizabeth from Adelaide being at the Kuala Lumpur airport. She, my uncle Louis VandenMunckhof, aunt and cousins with their family, 8 of them, had taken next day's MH17 flight to make the first leg of the journey home to Adelaide. They all went to The Netherlands for a family reuinion and a vacation. You can find the video link at the bottom of my post here: {Our Yoga Frogs & Friday's MH17 Flight...}
    But there is so much sadnes in my birth country as they lost 193 lives... And the pain about all the victims bodies being handled so disgraceful. Wonder if they ever will be released. There are no words!
    Sending you hugs and wishing you a good nightsleep.

  5. I'm a morning person. I don't like to stay in bed. Plenty of time for the sweet oblivion of...oblivion.
    I just had another birthday two weeks ago, so I'm even closer.
