Did you know No: 29


Hello, hello, hello, I am here and I am writing a did you know post for the first time in what seems like ages but really not that long at all.

The sound of E. T. walking was made by someone squishing her hands in jelly.

Playing cards were issued to British pilots in WW11, if captured the cards could be soaked in water and unfolded to reveal a map to help them escape.

Windmills always turn anti-clockwise, except in Ireland.

The Moscow Circus has a troupe of dancing cows that dance to Russian music and play football.

Atomic clocks, which use the vibrations of atoms to keep track of time, are so accurate that they would gain or lose only one second in three million years.
