Ok
here I am writing another post, this morning mum came and picked me
up and we went to visit my nan she was very tired today and just
wanted to sleep when she is like this we often feel what is the point
of being there.
After
we left nan we went to another nursing home to visit my Aunty Pat who
is now in a nursing home, Aunty Pat is my dad's older sister she is a
year older then dad and a year younger than mum although she looks
older. Apparently she had a fall at home and was in hospital for a
bit and her sister Denise was suppose to ring dad and tell him that
Pat was in hospital but she didn't do so and this annoyed dad and mum
as they would had gone to see her in hospital if they knew. When we
arrived she didn't seem that good but picked up after we had been
there 5 or 10 minutes and was pleased to see us, we told her we will
try and get out to see her a couple of times a month.
I am
glad that on Wednesday's I don't have to take Leo to school or pick
him up from school either as he goes to OOSH on Wednesday's and
Fridays and he is really loving it.
Damn
it is getting cold here, right now my feet are starting to feel cold
but I don't want to get up and go in search of something to warm my
feet but I really should. I think I might go for a nap soon as I am
so tired and if I blow my nose again it is going to bleed again. Yes
I have blown it so much this morning it has started bleeding because
of it.
So warm here, Scrappy stops to pause under every tree for shade. The trials of having a black back in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the cold weather if I am inside as it is nice to have a change I know I get fed up with stinking hot weather by the time it starts to cool down and the same goes for bloody cold days by the time summer gets here I will be over the cold
DeleteThat's such a hard stage to face, when family needs so much outside care. I hope your poor nose starts behaving and that you keep warm, despite the cold. I'll sends warm thoughts from Florida to make it happen. =)

DeletePut a very tiny bit of moisturizer inside your nose. It stopped my nose from bleeding when I lived where it was cold.

DeleteI hope your Aunt feels better soon! It is always so wonderful that you visit your Nan often. I wish the weather here was a little cooler. Next week we will be in the 100's. :-)

ReplyDeleteI get bloody noses when it's too dry and have to run the humidifier. Hurts when your nose gets that raw!

DeleteI use a cpap machine and that can dry out my nose over night which is why one of the first things I do of a morning is blow it
I’m sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident your Aunty Pat went through, but it’s good to know that she’s feeling well. As for your nan, I guess she’s just at an age where doing anything can easily tire her out. Anyway, I hope that your nose no longer bled after that one incident, and that you’ve done something to counter the cold. Take care!
