The weekend after New
Years Tim went and bought himself a new telly for his office and has
moved the telly from his office into the spare room for the boys to
use when they are here, mostly it is for Blain to use when he comes
over as he brings his Xbox with him.
It is better if Blain
brings his Xbox with him as it keeps him amused, he is not like Leo
who likes to just watch Foxtel (pay tv) or use papa's computer to
play computer games.
The boys spent New
Year's Eve here and drove me crazy for most of it, they fought a lot
and things were made worse by the fact that Jessica didn't give Leo
is medication so he was really bouncing off the walls both
figuratively and literary. He was throwing himself against a wall and
landing on the bed.
I was really annoyed
with Jessica I felt that she knew he would be here with Blain and
that when they are together they are crazy and he really needs his
medication. New Year's morning I gave him a dose not long after he
woke up and another dose around 12.30pm and he was pretty good all
day.
Have to tell you New
Year's day was a bloody hot day so hot that even though I had the air
conditioning going I still had moments when I felt hot and sweaty but
that may be due to my high blood glucose levels.
It must be hard work looking after those two boys, any 2 boys are hard work but even more so when they need to be medicated. I've taught quite a few of those in my day. I know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteYes it is difficult when Leo doesn't have his medication
DeleteI can imagine what you had to put up with. You shouldn't have to.
ReplyDeleteHaving grandchildren who do come and stop here the night who are well behaved is a blessing, and they are only 3, 6, 8, from one family, and 2 and a baby from the other family. They are not here all at once :) we have noise but that's normal.
It is loud and crazy when I have all 4 grandchildren here at once but it is good as well
DeleteYou are a saint!! ! had one child who was always hyper and off the wall. That was difficult. Your daughter should know that is right!
ReplyDeleteYes I don't get why she doesn't always give him his medication when she knows he needs it
DeleteDearest Jo-Anne,
ReplyDeleteNot so very nice for dumping the 'wild' kids at their Grandparents' home for New Year's Eve...
It makes a difference in age for handling that much activity.
Hope the New Year started well for you; regardless.
Hugs,
Mariette
You know what I had their children and they ended up not drinking and being home at a reasonable time
DeleteI don't think I could handle kids fighting all day. In fact, I know I couldn't. You are a braver woman than I.
ReplyDeleteI love them but they do give me a headache and at times I find myself snapping at them
