It's Friday and school is out for weeks and weeks and weeks........................

It is at last Friday and for me it is the end of a long week I do not know why it has been a long week but it has felt like a long one, maybe it's because I haven't had more then 10 minutes to do anything on the computer without being interrupted.

It is also the end of term for schools here which means no more school till the 27^th January 2012, while he is off school and his mother is working my grandson Blain will be either watched by one of his aunty's or his nanna unless he is with his dad. Now for reasons know only to her, his mum Natasha decided to let him have the last two days off school and since she was working both days he stayed with his Aunty Kathy. Kathy has said she doesn't mind having him but at the same time he has driven her mad with his constant questions, such as how old are you what's your name, how do you spell your name which are just a few of his favourite questions.................lol

At the moment I have hubby wanting to know what Facebook is all about and when I told him he was is that all I do not know what he thought it was, he had me set up a Facebook page for him a month ago but really it is beyond him he just doesn't get it. I think the only reason he wanted a Facebook account is because some of his work mates have a Facebook page and he wanted to do what everyone else was doing................

Yesterday I finished paying for my false teeth hopefully I will have them next week out of pocket cost for us was $396 the government paid $2400. It will be good to have back teeth again but it will also feel odd for a while till I get use to them I may only wear them to eat, which is what my dad does.

Seeing the wiggles

Today my oldest daughter has taken my granddaughter Sydney-May to a Wiggles concert, my sister Sandra was taking her daughter Temika so the two girls and their daughters are going to the concert together. While I was dropping Kathy & Syd off my sister in-law Leigh drove past so she was also going and taking her girls Kayla & Liarna.

I hope they have a great time and that the little ones really enjoy the show. 

The Wiggles are children's entertainers that have rewritten the book about how children can be entertained with song and dance. There are 4 wiggles Sam (Yellow), Murray (Red), Jeff (Purple) and Anthony (Blue) and the characters they have created are now a part of the lives of so many children.

How Do You Feel About The Christmas Season??????

The Christmas season is a pond us so I was thinking while I was driving out to Jessica's place today I started to think about Christmas and what it means to people...................So what does it mean to you? Do you love Christmas or are you just blah about it or maybe you are a grinch or a scrooge.

Now I doubt it comes as a surprise to anyone that I love Christmas, it took me while to figure out what type of decorations I like for many years there was no theme to my decorations but the last couple of years I have at long last figured it out......................I love Santa Claus statues, pictures, ornaments along with Christmas trees this year I only have one small tinsel tree sitting on top of the entertainment unit but in past years I have had 2 or 3 trees and next year I will again I just have to buy some more..................

Now I am married to a man who is just blah about Christmas it means really nothing to him although he always loved to watch the girls open their presents and in recent years has loved it when Jessica and Leo have stayed here Christmas Eve so he could see Leo open his presents Christmas morning. I think his feelings about Christmas come from his childhood when Christmas was not a big deal as his father was never interested in Christmas his mother was more like me though she seemed to always love Christmas.

I also love to buy and give gifts as anyone who knows me is aware of......................lol Yesterday I sorted out my presents should had taken a photo of all the gifts spread out over the lounge room floor but didn't think of it...................my bad...........lol Anyway I discovered that I didn't have anything of my brother so this morning while we where out I said to hubby that I have to get something for Dave and he picks up something that cost only $6 and said give him that and I was like ok we can give him that but not just that I found something else that was $15 and we got the 2 items but I would still like to get him something else but I will not tell hubby that I am getting something else for him as I do not want to hear him complain about how much money I am spending.

A Wonderful Mother

What does it take to me a good mother? Do you think you are a good mother?

I am a lucky woman as I have one of the most amazing mothers ever she is always there for us and always lets us know that she loves her children and that she is proud of us. I have always said if I am as half the mother that my mother is then I know I have done a good job with my children.

Now I know there are some terrible mothers out there, such as my nephew Dawson's mother I often feel like she not a great mother but then she didn't great mother so maybe that has something to do with why she is the way she is with Dawson. I can not imagine telling my child that I wish I had never had them, or yelling and swearing at them instead of telling them that they are loved and wanted and that they make my life complete.

I have three beautiful daughter's who are all mothers and I feel that they are fantastic mothers and I hope they know that I am proud of the mothers they are........

Why oh why will he not use the toilet

We love out Little Leo but he is really driving his mother and nanna crazy we are at the pulling our hair out stage............................the cause of our frustration is in lack of interest in being taught how to go to the toilet.

Yesterday Jessica left him on the toilet and instead of doing his business in the toilet while she walked down stairs for something he got off the toilet and went into her bedroom and climbed into her wardrobe and did a poo in the corner of the wardrobe and then a pee next to the poo.............

The level of anger and frustration Jessica felt when she saw it was very high, how did she find out well Leo goes down stairs and tells her that he pooed and pee and when she asked in the toilet he goes no in the cupboard.............she goes upstairs and follows the smell to she found where he did it......................he then got a smack bum and was made to clean it up himself she then rang me in tears wanting to know why he would do such a thing and of course I had no answer.............

Good Morning Everyone

Good Morning everyone yes I know for some of you it isn't morning but it is for me so Good Morning.............

We have what looks like being a pretty good day outside not raining sun shinning so we will see how the day pans out........

Now I have my precious granddaughter Sydney-May with me for the day as it is Monday and she is getting use to being her for the second week in a row she just waved bye to her mum, no tears or carry on which makes leaving her easier for Kathy-Lee.

I also have Tim home for the day as he is doing an afternoon shift so he will not be leaving till sometime this afternoon.

I have sent out most of my Christmas e cards over the weekend and have done most of my snail mail cards last week but I am sure I will find more that I have to t send out so will be going over my list this afternoon and write any that I need to do so I can get them posted off sometime this week.

For the first time in ages I am all caught up with my mail so no letters to answer today....................

Christmas Shopping

I have to find the time to sort out all the Christmas presents I have bought over the last few months and figure out what I have and for who I have bought for so I know what else I have to get, I just want to go it while Tim isn't home as if he sees how much I have already bought he will go on and on about already have and how I spend too much money on presents. I know I have a a bit of a problem when it comes to buying gifts as I love to buy gifts for my family..................just as much as I love to buy Avon.................lol

Bloody hell if Tim knew I bought gifts for my sisters to give out to different people he would really go off his head.........................lol
