Crying
does it come easy for you or do you rarely cry, me I am a crier I cry while
reading books, while watching movies or TV shows. I cry while talking to my mum
at times I am all in all an emotional person.
Can you
remember the last time you cried? Was it
over something major or something silly?
If I am
not taking my medication I will cry at the drop of a hat and I get very
emotional, do I think that is a bad thing………….NO………….I don’t, it is what it is.
Do you
think real men cry? I do and I am married to a man who isn’t afraid to cry and I
love him for it.
I personally think it's good if a man can cry. Good for your Tim! I can cry quite easily over all sorts of things . Strangely enough, I think it can be a sign if strength and not weakness. I'm glad that things are able to move me to tears sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI agree about men crying shows strength my father isn't one who crys easy but there have been times like when his eldest daughter (me) got married I remember him crying then
DeleteI used to be carefree, didn't cry all that much but now I feel myself well up at things on TV, in books etc.. like you. Its better to let it out then keeping it all bottled to pour out later.
ReplyDeleteI think some people find themselves being able to cry more as they age as as we get older we stop thinking things are wrong or a sign of weakness.......
DeleteI don't cry often, but I did yesterday at a video I posted yesterday on FB about two brothers who were reunited. I, like thisisme, think it can be a sign of strength and not weakness when a person cries.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do feel like I cry to easy........but it is me like it or not
Deletei rarely cry i was taught at a young age crying was a sign of weakness
ReplyDeleteThat is sad that you were taught that crying is a sign of weakness because it takes a strong person to be able to cry in front of others
DeleteI tear up easily and over really silly things. Mostly if something jiggles a memory of a special time or of someone in my life now or in the past. I probably do that a few times a week. Or movies or TV shows. But I don't out-and-out cry, sob, and wail very often. When I do, it's usually from grief or pent up emotions. I always feel better afterward.
ReplyDeleteNo I also don't cry and sob that much because well just because I don't
DeleteI cry... doesn't have to be a good reason, either.
ReplyDeleteThat is good to hear
DeleteI cry. Definitely cry. But not as much as when I was married to Dr. X.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Maybe you don't have a reason to cry as much as you did when you were married to Dr X
Deletei cry when i get happy, and silly things make me cry too! the corniest movies/tv shows and a few songs.............blake sheltons the baby makes me BAWL!
ReplyDeleteYeah I have cried at some movies and songs as I have said and it is great that you are able to cry
DeleteIf I am extremely upset I can't cry. It hurts too much to cry at such a time. I cry when I see the ads promoting nurses.
ReplyDeleteIt is terrible when we can't cry even when we are upset and need to do so........
DeleteWhen I read the third book in the Infernal Devices series, I cried the whole second half of the book...I needed some of the aloe-infused tissues and chocolate! I was so pitiful! Ironically I usually cry when I'm really angry. When I'm sad, I sulk. :D
ReplyDeleteI appreciate this post, and I truly appreciate your honest voice. Your blog seems so real, and I like that!
Thank you I am glad you liked the post, it is good to be able to cry I find a good cry can make me feel better. I rarely sulk.............just not me
DeleteWhat medication girl? You know when I was young I cried at the drop of a hat. I lose my brother and my parents and I guess I cried so much I don't have that many tears left. Love, sandie
ReplyDeleteI am on anti depression medication and if I don't take it I cry so easy and I get so sad. I can't imagine crying that much that I would be all cried out but then I have not lost anyone really close to me
Deletea good cry is very healing. a good release. last time i cried was last night when i finished my book. it was fabulous and sad. i don't cry easily but had a cry with my doctor recently.
ReplyDeleteYes it is and it leaves me feel good and refreshed
DeleteCrying is a wonderful thing and sometimes it isn't because you are sad. I love "tears of joy" and also "tears of sorrow". It shows passion. :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah it is good to cry tears of joy and not just the tears of sorrow and sadness I find both types come easy for me
DeleteYep I cry in movies and for joy and when sad things happen.
ReplyDeleteI think those who do not cry in movies are missing out on something, the something being a good cry........
