Crying

Crying does it come easy for you or do you rarely cry, me I am a crier I cry while reading books, while watching movies or TV shows. I cry while talking to my mum at times I am all in all an emotional person.

Can you remember the last time you cried?  Was it over something major or something silly?

If I am not taking my medication I will cry at the drop of a hat and I get very emotional, do I think that is a bad thing………….NO………….I don’t, it is what it is.

Do you think real men cry? I do and I am married to a man who isn’t afraid to cry and I love him for it.

  1. I personally think it's good if a man can cry. Good for your Tim! I can cry quite easily over all sorts of things . Strangely enough, I think it can be a sign if strength and not weakness. I'm glad that things are able to move me to tears sometimes.

  2. I used to be carefree, didn't cry all that much but now I feel myself well up at things on TV, in books etc.. like you. Its better to let it out then keeping it all bottled to pour out later.

    1. I think some people find themselves being able to cry more as they age as as we get older we stop thinking things are wrong or a sign of weakness.......

  3. I don't cry often, but I did yesterday at a video I posted yesterday on FB about two brothers who were reunited. I, like thisisme, think it can be a sign of strength and not weakness when a person cries.

    1. That is sad that you were taught that crying is a sign of weakness because it takes a strong person to be able to cry in front of others

  5. I tear up easily and over really silly things. Mostly if something jiggles a memory of a special time or of someone in my life now or in the past. I probably do that a few times a week. Or movies or TV shows. But I don't out-and-out cry, sob, and wail very often. When I do, it's usually from grief or pent up emotions. I always feel better afterward.

  9. If I am extremely upset I can't cry. It hurts too much to cry at such a time. I cry when I see the ads promoting nurses.

  10. When I read the third book in the Infernal Devices series, I cried the whole second half of the book...I needed some of the aloe-infused tissues and chocolate! I was so pitiful! Ironically I usually cry when I'm really angry. When I'm sad, I sulk. :D

I appreciate this post, and I truly appreciate your honest voice. Your blog seems so real, and I like that!

  13. Crying is a wonderful thing and sometimes it isn't because you are sad. I love "tears of joy" and also "tears of sorrow". It shows passion. :-)

  15. I think those who do not cry in movies are missing out on something, the something being a good cry........
