VIRGINIA'S ANSWER PART 1

They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their minds, Virginia whether they be men or children are little. In this great universe of ours man is a mere insect in intellect as compared with the boundless world about him as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth.

Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy.

Alas! How dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus!

It would be as dreary if there were no Virginias.

Can't argue that! (Although, I've only known one Virginia...)

This is still such a wonderful answer, even all these years later. I think we need the spirit of Santa Claus more than ever now. 🎅

At my age, I still enjoy stories about Santa Claus and his reindeers.

Nice story.
Always there will be a Santa...he may have to check-in at each place but he'll get there with his helpers

It would, indeed, be dreary if no one were willing to question.
