Touching poem.
ReplyDeleteWow, this was good. Reminds me of when I used to feel guilty for not saying, "I love you," to my first husband before he walked out the door the last time before he was killed in a motorcycle accident. Powerful. Now I understand he knew how much I loved him.
ReplyDeleteYou know Tim always gives me a kiss before he leaves the house and I do to him as well but generally he leaves to go to work often when I am still in bed asleep.
DeleteThat was so touching. It made me tear up and think of all the loved ones I've lost.
ReplyDeleteMe too I couldn't help thinking about my pop and my uncle John when I read it
DeleteMeaningful poem. :)
