About Tim Monday's

Ok Monday has rolled around again so I will tell you a little more about Tim, as I have mentioned in past blogs he is not close to his family. He has always felt that he didn't fit in that he was the odd one out he has always told me that he was the one blamed for anything that went wrong in the family and when ever one of the kids did something wrong his father would belt him no matter which child it was that did the wrong thing.

Tim is the second eldest of 5 children he has 3 brothers and 1 sister but also has 2 half sisters and 1 half brother. His parents divorced when he was in his teens and his father took up with another woman who he was with for a number of years and then they split and he went on to marry some other woman............

Tim has always said he would not want to be the type of father his father was and he isn't but there are times when he thinks he is acting like his father and that upsets him and he hates and I mean really hates the fact that he looks like his father at times............

You may hgave noticed that I am using the term father not dad that is because Tim has always said he wasn't much of a dad and that anyone can be a father but not all fathers are dads, if you can understand that............lol

Anyway Tim is not his father he is a better man who loves his children and who has always tried to be there for them............

Can anyone pick my darling hubby in the above photo?????????????????????

Best Childhood Memory

Ok I have shared with everyone my worst moment as a child so now I tell you a bit about my best moment as a child well ok it is more like my best moments as there are more than one moment.
One of the earliest memories I have as a child is going for a drive with my dad on Blacksmiths beach and we got bogged I don’t remember how we got the car out I just remember being with dad and getting stuck in the sand………….and of course that was back before mobile phones……………lol

Another great memory I have is of Christmas Days spent at my grandparents’ house we would go to their house around 10am Christmas morning and stay until around 2pm nan would make a great baked lunch with all the trimmings I really miss those  lunches…………

These are just two memories I have there are many as I had an awesome childhood………………

So who else has great memories of their childhood?

Worst childhood moment

When you look back on your childhood is there any particular moment that you think of as the worst moment of your childhood………………………………….

When I look back on mine I am pretty lucky in that I can’t remember any bad moments unless you count my school years……………….lol I have some really good moments which I will talk about in later posts.

I did not enjoy school at all it was a place I had to go and for the most part I would often just lose myself in a book during recess or lunch time, yes I had some friends who I would hang around with if I had a choice I would rather be in the library.

Yes I was teased and picked on a lot at school and did not think of myself as being pretty and often would think I was dumb even though I was near the top of the class but then I was in the second glass from the bottom, we had grades that went A, B, C & D and I was in a C glass with some really thick kids…………………..lol

About Jo-Anne Tuesday............I'm a Loner...........

I have always been a loner preferring to spend my time alone although when I was at school I did a have a few girls I hung around only one of which I would call a friend. I never had a boyfriend while I was at school and to be honest I was not interested in boys when I was at school.

After leaving school I still had no interest in boys but of course that did change over time and when I was in my early 20’s I decided to sign up to a dating agency and went on one date with some guy who I really didn’t click with but the next day I had a phone call from a guy named Tim and we around to go out the following night which was a Thursday night and I knew right away that this was the guy for me.
We went to pizza hut and neither of us could eat much we both were so nervous, the date was the 6th June 1983 and 3 months later he asked me to marry him and of course I said yes we had an engagement party in November and married the following September.

Tim decided to try a dating agency because like me he is also very shy and a loner.

Monday is Tim's Day

I have decided that for the next few weeks at least Mondays will be Tim’s day the day of the week that I share with you some things about my husband I decided this while driving to Jessica’s place this morning in fact I composed the entire post in my head on the drive there………….I will kick this off with asking this question is there and opposite of “rose coloured classes”

I think everyone has heard the saying seeing things through rose coloured classes but is there an opposite of that.  Why you ask well I will tell when I met Tim he was a canvas machinist he made caravan annexes, tents, truck tarps stuff like that and he was really good at it and loved the job because he was so good at it he took a lot of pride in his work.

However if you were to asked him now days  about that job he will tell you that he didn’t like the job and that he was miserable there and never got on with anyone……………………..now this is true but only for the last couple of years he worked there. The first 10 years were great the last few years not so much.

He also blames me for him staying there so long as he said I wouldn’t let him quit but that isn’t right either yes I was nervous about him leaving the job but only because I didn’t know what would happen after he did. Now he did end up leaving after 15 years I remember is that he came home one evening and was not in a very good mood and I told him to quit to that we would manage somehow but no he didn’t. He did, however, take some long service leave and while on long service leave he got a job driving hire cars which for those who don’t know that is like driving a taxi except it is an a nice unmarked car and they do not pick up people on the side of the road I will talk more about that in later posts…………….

A Cheats Baked Lunch.................

Today my mum did a cheats baked lunch now what is a cheats baked lunch you ask well it's when you use frozen roast veggies istead of fresh the ones we used were these ones they are alright but not the same as homemade baked veggies. The potato swirls were really nice and we did those because Sue doesn't like the roast veggies, for meat we had a roast lamb.

We set the table up in the carport and ate there there was only 10 adults and the 3 babies there so not to many, Sue and I cleanned up before we left so mum wouldn't have to do it afterwards.

While we were there mum opened a bottle of wine it was called “Love” it was a fruity dessert wine and I loved it which is a big thing as I do not drink wine but I ended up drinking half a bottle and since being home I have followed it with 2 voka cruisers pineapple flavoured so I am a bit tipsy at the moment but that's ok as I do not drink very often and will not have anymore to drink tonight I know when to stop, how I am feeling at the moment is good very relaxed. I will have to have a look at the bottle shop for the wine.

Multitasking

Today I am writing about multitasking, something I do often but of course it has pros and cons, so I asked Google what these pros and cons...
