Children Teach Us.......................

This is really so bloody true when children talk non stop and ask a trillion questions about everything under the sun often questions we don't have the answers to but we love our children which is why we try to answer all those annoying questions.

Also when children are fighing with their siblings that can really test our patience as much as we try to let them fight it out between themselves it isn't always easy to do so....................

  1. My little granddaughter is just over 2 and wants to play Ring a Roses, ALL THE TIME. That tests my fitness as well as my patience. :)

  5. Your comments are SO true my friend! I can well remember my youngest daughter when she was tiny, seemed to ask questions from the time she woke up to the time she went to bed. I was always exhausted by lunchtime!! Hee Hee!!

  6. Sheila......My granddaughter who is also just over 2 loves to play peek a boo with a toy monkey we have and if it was up to her we would play it for hours on end............lol

Diane.....Yes grandchildren do have a wonderful way of testing our patience

Shelly....Yes they are which is so wonderful

Melynda......Well thank you if only they were my words of wisdom

Diane....Sometimes it is not easy to remember that children learn by asking but why or why do they have to ask the same questions over and over.......lol

  7. You are right. If you want to know the true story, listen to a child. They speak their little minds and I think it is great.

  8. Yes it is great that children just tell it how it is

  9. Don't be too hard on sibling fighting. My sister and I mouthed off to each other constantly. When Mom would try to stop us, we'd say, "But if we were nice to each other, people would think one of us was sick!"

  10. My father in law was the best when it came to my boys and their endless questions. Especially the "why" stage. You know, "why is the sky blue?"; "why is the grass green" Most of us get frustrated and end up saying BECAUSE!! Not my FIL, he'd explain until the kids got exhausted LOL

L...Your father in-law sounds like an awesome man

  12. Our kids talk non stop, but since they are growing so fast [the youngest is now 14] and will all be gone soon, I find their incessant chatter to be music to my ears.

I know it can be tough - but be thankful. They really do mean well.
