A Holiday

On Boxing Day my parents went away again they will be home around the end of January, they are going to Perth. While they are away I am staying at their house for a week from yesterday (Boxing Day).

I am staying here to have a break from my kids and it is nice to be have a house to myself, I do have to say though that I had a rotten nights sleep last night maybe it was because I was in a different bed or maybe because I didn’t have my C Pap machine as I have no where to plug it in at mums place.

Next week my sister Sue is thinking about coming here for a week then I think I may even come back again for another week if it is alright with mum and dad and Tim as this is the closest I get to a holiday. I should say Tim is saving up so that he and I can go away for a week in a year or so.

At the moment Tim is in Sydney for 5 days working he is driving buses as he is off work for 2 weeks from driving trucks. Tim is not one for taking a lot of time off work.

Last night mum sent me a text message telling me that the air con in the motor home wasn’t working and of cause that sent dad off on a negative rant, however, they where able to get it fixed this morning and it only cost them $100 which made dad happy.

Oh yeah I want to tell everyone that mum bought dad a generator for Christmas to have in the motor home it is powerful enough to run the air con. At first mum was going to get a smaller one but it would be able to run the air con and only Christmas Eve dad was saying how hot it would be when they free camp without the air con so she bought the bigger one instead. She didn’t pick it up until Christmas Eve as she really wanted to surprise dad with it and that she did.

Going to see Tims mum

Only 2 days to go and then we all can breath a sigh of relief for another year.......I am so excited!!!!!

Had a phone call this morning from my sister Sue she didn't have anything to give dad for Christmas so of cause I said leave it to me and went and bought her something to give him.

Went to Sydney yesterday to see Tim's mum she is in a nursing home, anyway his sister Jennifer was there also with her husband and kids would like to say it was great to see all of them but that would be a lie. Tim can't stand his sister or any of his brothers but the visit did go alright his mum looked good and his step father who is also in the nursing home although Tim has never really liked him much either. In fact there is only one member of his family that Tim does like and that is his sister Jenny also know as little Jenny and yes this is a different sister his father gave 2 daughters the same name.

We took Blain and Tasha with us yesterday and once Blain got use to his cousins he had a great time running around playing with them. Although on the trip home he started to get cranky and Tasha then started yelling at him and it was giving me a headache, so I told time to pull over and I swapped seats with Tasha anything to shut her up. We did take Tim's portable dvd player with us so Blain could watch movies on the way.

Also on the way home Blain decided he didn't want to wear his seat belt any more, he is now is a boaster seat and I wanted to get him a harness to wear with his seat belt but Tim didn't think it was important enough, however, he changed his mind on the way home.

Santa is coming and so is Leo soon

My baby girl has only 3 weeks and 4 days time although I wouldn't be surprised if she has bub in the first part of the new year as she has already dropped a bit a little more then a bit in fact.

I just hope she doesn't have him on Christmas Day as I will be drinking on Christmas Day as my mum often makes her own Irish Cream Whisky aka Baileys and it is so yummy.....

There won't be a lot of us on Christmas Day only around 15 people which will make mum happy....We don't have a hot meal although we do have baked potatoes and potato bake the rest of the food is cold. Chicken, Turkey, Ham, Prawns, and salad stuff.

Of cause there will be desert not sure what we will be having for desert yet me and mum will have to figure that out tomorrow at breakie.

Up Early

Well an early morning for me Blain stirred and started to cry at 3.30am when Tim was coming to bed and it was 4.30am before he settled down again by then Tim was hogging the covers and I was cold so at 5am I got up and had a hot bath and haven't been back to bed since. I will be having a nanna nap this afternoon I reckon.

Blain slept with me last night as Tasha is very sick with tonsillist and has a fever so I thought I would make sure she got a plenty of rest. I am going to take Blain with me when I go shopping in half an hour. Looks like I may have to go and wake Blain up to get him ready but I will leave it as long as possible before I do that.

Blain turned 2 on Wednesday no party for him although we will have a cake for him on Sunday at lunch , he didn't get a lot of presents but he likes the ones he did get and at 2 it means nothing to him yet.

Blain's dad has gone away on a holiday with his brother and his brothers family and yes Tasha is ok with him going and so am I but he did have to go the weekend Tasha is sick........bugga. I will help he as much as I can while she is sick.

Knowing my Place

I have been having some problems with over stepping my bounds with Blain sometimes I am trying to help Natasha but then I realise I have done the wrong thing and should be minding my own business as she is his mother not me.

Like tonight I was in my bedroom putting clothes away and I could hear her getting mad with Blain as he was crying for nanna and she wanted him to settle down ready for bed. So what did I do I came out and took him off her and nursed him and gave him his bottle and he stopped crying and she got mad and went to her room. I realised as soon as I did it that I should have let her deal with him and felt bad, so I took him into her and told her I knew I did the wrong thing.

Tasha was crying saying she feels like Blain never wants her he only wants nanna and that made me feel rotten, I told her I don't mean to interfere and I have been trying not to but sometimes I do it without realising as I just want to help. I know she is the mum and not me and I am really trying to let her be mum. She said it is one reason she didn't want to move home, although she does like it when I help just not all the time.

I will have to keep reminding myself that it is not my place to over rule his mum or to but in when she is dealing with him unless she has asked me to.

A night with just me and Blain

Well looks like tonight is going to be just me and Blain and yes he is suppose to be at his fathers but he has plans and can't have him, slack I reckon but not my place to say anything. Last weekend he went to his girlfriends on the Saturday night and stayed out all night leaving Blain with his house mates and boy was Tasha pissed off when she found out and she wasn't the only one........

Anyway back to me and Blain tonight his mum is over at Wogboys for the night and I said I am willing to have a night just me and Blain. Yes I am to soft I know it but I just don't know how to say no.

At the moment he is running around the house after the dogs and I know I will be wanting an early night so it's ok. He goes back to his fathers tomorrow night well he is suppose to lets just wait and see.

I think it is slack that his other grandmother is always to busy to have him or she is to tired to have him there is always some reason why she can't look after him for a night and in fact both Tasha and Jono have stopped asking her as she has said yes on a number of occasions only to cancel at the last minute.

Blains sleeping habits

A few minutes ago wogboy went into wake Blain up he does not want to wake up and at the moment is winging behind me and of cause he didn't want to go to sleep when we put him down for a nap. I have told Tasha it is time she started making him have an afternoon nap every day it is something she wouldn't be bothered to do but it is something she needs to do as he gets very cranky of an afternoon and some days it is like he is over tired.

I do have to say wogboy is a good influence on her when it come to Blain, he has a 3 year old son himself and she takes more notice of what he tells her when it comes to Blain then she does me. last night he told her it is time she started putting Blain to bed without laying down with him or she will be laying down with him to get him off to sleep when he is 10 years old....lol. After him coming out a few times he did go to sleep on his own and he only cried for a little while.

This morning she let me sleep in when I woke up it was 11.30am and I got a shock as it is her pay day and I thought she would be waking me up early to take her shopping. I was glad to get to sleep in.

Dinner and Elton John

Last night Tim took me to work with him and he was driving a bus to and from the Elton John concent. A few weeks ago he asked me if I would like to go out for dinner and to the Elton John concent and I said yes then he said ok come to work with me when I do the concent......

Anyway I went with him last night and I had a great time dinner was at the rugby club in Cessnock and then we went back to the concent I didn't get to see the concent as the bus was way done the end of the driveway but I did get to hear some of it and there was also fireworks near by and they where great.

Tim told me tonight that I should have gone with him tonight as he managed to get into the concent and was sorry I wasn't there with him.

I told Tim I would like to go with him next time he does a concent as I had such a good time and I enjoyed spending time with Tim.

Bump and Flowers

Well it's Friday again the week seems to have gone so fast, yesterday when Blain was running down the hallway he run into the corner of the wall and hit his head. He cried a far bit and has a bump on his forward the size of a goose egg.......

Tonight he is at his dads again well he is there until Monday afternoon and I both miss him and feel relived to have a quite couple of days.

Today Natasha bought me some flowers for no reason and it was a nice surprise.

More Chrisco

I had more Chrisco delivered today gift ones this time mum and dads presents and part of Tasha's birthday present and part of Kathy's Christmas present. All Tim said was where's mine and was not happy when I said I don't think I bought him anything from Chrisco and that was only because when I placed the order he said he didn't want anything.

I will have to start sorting out my presents so I know what I have and I am pretty sure that I don't have to buy any thing more.

Natasha

The weekend is finely here which means Blain is at his dads and Tasha has gone over to her new man's place for the weekend. He man is called "wogboy" she doesn't want me to put his real name on a blog so I won't do that.

Anyway he has been here every day during the week except for Friday when she went over there. He comes here after he has finished work and he seems like a nice guy and he really seems to like Tasha. She feels he is a lot like her father in some ways and she has said that is one of the reasons she likes him. He has 2 children and his son is with him this weekend at it is the first time Tasha has met his son.

It is good to see Tasha moving on with her life and being happy with someone other then Jono. She doesn't look at Jono through rose coloured classes any more.

Baby Update

I just had to yell at Blain he likes to have a bottle (not a baby bottle) of water and that's ok when he drinks it but he just asked for it so he could tip it out and have it run down his chest and tummy. He really doesn't like it when I go mad at him but that is something he will have to get use to while he is living here.

We just had a home visit from the midwife it is the 4th time a visit has been arranged for her but the only time that she has had a visit as the midwife cancelled 3 times and once Jes forgot about it and wasn't home. These visits can be good but also at times I wonder what is the point.

The midwife was asking about the baby's father and that is real complicated but she wanted to know stuff so we told her but she got confused and I thought well you wanted to know. We told her it was complicated.

Jessica is now 32 weeks so it is slowly getting close but as I said to Jessica just think about getting through Christmas after that New Years and then it will be really close...........

She has bought everything she needs the only thing we really need to do is get the cot mattress which will make her feel better.

Hampers

My Chrisco and Castle hampers arrived on Saturday morning most of it was frozen stuff and boy did it fill my freezers in fact I had to give some stuff to both Jono and Kathy as I just couldn't fit them in the freezer.

Just so no one gets the wrong idea the stuff I gave Jono was stuff that we wouldn't have eaten anyway and with Kathy I told her she could take whatever she wanted.

There were 12 boxes of stuff and 8 of them where frozen foods.

I still have a few boxes of gifts to be delivered.

I now have empty boxes all over the place and it is annoying I will have to take them out and see if I can store them in one of the sheds. I want to keep them in case one of the girls want them when they move out.

45 Today

Well it is D day or should that be B day I am now 45 and what a day I have had, I got lots of nice presents 4 new tops 1 pair of shorts some bath stuff a dragonfly pin and Imari perfume stuff as well. I love everything especially the pin it is a blue pin and it is great I got that from my parents along with the Imari stuff.

I went out for lunch with my parents, sisters, daughters, grandson, husband and even Kathy's man Chad came. We only went to club Panthers but it was great after eating I went and played the pokies with mum and after she drove Tasha home with Jessica it was a great day.

At lunch Sandra and Sue said I shouldn't be having Blain tonight since it's my birthday and I should be able to relax and have a few drinks without having to worry about Blain. So I told Tasha that I wouldn't be having him and she was not happy as she said she had made plans to go out and Sue said that her and Kathy wouldn't have him either. After getting home I started feeling bad and rang Tasha and said I would have him but she said Kathy had just left with him so I sent Kathy a text telling her that if she didn't want to have him she could bring him to me for the night. As yet I haven't heard from Kathy so I have no idea what is happening Tasha told me to have a drink and just forget about it all and if Kathy turns up with Kathy then she does.

Kathy bought me a cheesecake from the Cheesecake shop it is just a plain cheesecake and I love it, I will have to share it with my family. Maybe....lol

My Loungeroom

The other night I hung up some more photos still got a few to do and I also want to update some before I rehang them, so far I don't have very many on the lounge room walls yet. I have hung some in the spare room(soon to be Tasha's & Blain's room).

Last night I got out the Christmas tree although I didn't put it up yet I hope to do that tomorrow night I just have to clean off the table first. I also put up a few decorations but still have lots more to do, some of which I haven't bought yet....lol

I was up again at 5.30am to go for a walk this morning but today I went back to bed when I got home for another couple of hours which I often do although some morning like yesterday I stay up and do housework and other stuff. My dad found it hard to believe that I get up at 5.30 and go for a walk but I like to go early when it is cool.

Sue's Car

Thought I would give everyone an update on my sister Sue's car status she has another car now it is a small white manual thing don't know what type it is though. I do know that when she first got the car she was scared to drive it as she had never driven a manual before, however she is now use to it and likes driving it and it so so cheap to run.

Hill starts gave her the most trouble at first but Dave took her out and gave her a driving lesson in it and after that she was ok.

Jessica and Photos

Today I slept in till 10.20am when I got up I went in to get Jessica up so we could go and hand in her Centrelink book/form but her feet where very swollen again and I wouldn't let her go I had her write a note so I could do it for her.

When I got home I swept out the house and cleaned up the spare room so now we can walk into it without running into things. After that I hung a few of the photos, Tim told me he didn't want me to put them all up again as he thought there was to many I don't agree. I intend to put more up tomorrow whether he likes it or not.

Yesterday we picked up a cot and change table wit a bath for Jessica from Leigh, Jessica loves it so Leigh if you read this thank you heaps.

Two Nights with Blain

I had Blain here last night and again tonight why you may ask well last night because I have him Friday nights and tonight because tomorrow morning Tim is taking Blain and me to the truck show in at the foreshore. We have to get up around 6.30am and I thought it would be easier if he spent the night here, then trying to get Tasha out of bed early in the morning.

Last night he was asleep twice and woken up twice before he settled down for the night, the first time he woke up when Tim rang as soon as he heard his voice he sat up and said papa and had to talk to Tim. The next time he woke up crying for his mum and dad and was upset and wouldn't settle down again so I rang Tasha and she said that she was upset as Jono had the shits with someone there but no it wasn't her. After he spoke to them he was ok and went back to sleep and slept all night until 6.30am although when he woke up he want to talk to Tim and have a cuddle form Tim and even though Tim had only been in bed for about 2 hours he woke up and cuddle him and talked to him.

I dropped him at home around 10ish and at first Tasha seemed annoyed but when I told her we would be having Blain again tonight her mood changed.

Thankfully Blain went to sleep pretty quick tonight I just hope he stays asleep and sleeps all night.

Update on Heather

Hi everyone thought I would update you on my niece Heather she is at her dads place and has told Paul that she will not be going back to him until he has proven to her that he has changed she even gave him back her engagement ring.

He told her that he is going to AA now and wants to win her back so I guess we will just have to see what happens. I just hope she is strong and doesn't give in and go back. Or that her father tries to talk her into going back and he has done that when she has left Paul before.

Heather's Problems

My niece Heather is having some problems with her partner Paul at the moment he is drinking far to much and that means he is spending their money on grog and they don't have much of it to stay with.

She wants to leave him but the only place she can go is her fathers and he she keeps telling her to go back and make it work. She wanted to go and live with her mum but Sue is boarding with my daughter Kathy-Lee and there is no room there. I know Heather feels like Sue doesn't want to help her but that isn't right she just feels like she can't and it does hurt her not to be able help Heather but that is just the way it is at the moment.

I think Heather should get an AVO as he was violent last night she had to call the cops and he was arrested for the night, I think she is worried about how he will be when he gets back.

I really wish I could help her but I have no room here for her either. She could do better then him as she shouldn't have to but up with that shit. I think she should kick him out but I will not tell her what to do. I don't think it is good for her girls who are only 3yrs and 21 mths old.

Sue's Car

People who have had something to drink should never drive even if it has been a few hours since your last drink, especially if you are also tired. Another thing if you are affected by drink and fatigue do not take your eyes of the road at all.

Now you may be wondering why what is the point of this well I'm going to tell you.

This morning at around 3am my darling sister Sue smashed her car up and wrote it off..........

This happened because she was affected by the above and I have to say that I am very SORRY SIS that I wasn't more supportive this morning at 5am when you rang me looking for a ride to Raymond Terrace but I was very tired and couldn't keep my eyes opened, I didn't hear Jessica come home so had no idea if I had a car or not(yes I know I said I had no car) but really I just didn't know and I just wanted to sleep.

After I went back to sleep I had bad dreams about you and Heather dieing and this was upsetting to me as you both mean so much to me. I love you sis more then you know.

Tomorrow is your 38th birthday and it makes me upset to think that you may not have been here to celebrate it.

House being Painted

Yesterday I had the painters come and tell me they would be starting my house this morning so I found myself woken up at 7.30am far to early for me any way after they started I went down to Macca's for breakfast.

While I was having breakfast Natasha rang and asked me if I would take her shopping, so of cause I did by the time I got home the painters had done a first coat on the ceilings except for Jessicas room and my bedroom as both Jessica and her dad where still in bed asleep. They will be starting those rooms at 7.30 in the morning so Jes will be up early and Tim will also have to get up early not to forget me as there is no way they will let me sleep in....lol

Hopefully they should be finished by Friday afternoon.

Chrisco Update

Hi everyone as I said in a previous post I applied to become a Chrisco Agent well I spoke to Chrisco today and they told me that my agent number is the same as my membership number so I have it now.

Tim working in yard

Last night Tim was going on and on about the awning he is putting up out the back well not exactly putting more repairing and replacing as part of it blew down in a storm 3 years ago. It has taken him this long to get around to doing it.

Anyway he went on and on about finishing it off today and how much did he do well he manage to go and get the rest of the wood. He told me about 4 times last night he was going to call in sick and finish it off when he said it I thought to myself believe it when I see it. It didn't happen he went to work as usual. I hope it doesn't take him months to finish it.

When it comes to doing work around the yard it takes Tim forever to do it anything even mowing the yard. He will say I work hard all week so we can get out of debt and I have to grit my teeth so I don't come back with something like who got us into debt in the first place...

I also asked him last night about lending Jessica some money to buy a laptop and all he would say is we will talk about it tomorrow (meaning today) and didn't do that either. He had better say yes as he lent money to both his other daughters.

My Clothes and Tim

Well today being Sunday means lunch at mums and because it is so stinking hot here I thought I would wear a new halter neck top I bought but when I put it on Tim said he thought it was to slutty and to tight around my hips and I told him it isn't designed to sit at the hips it only comes to my waist but he still didn't like it. So I went and changed it and thought I will take it to mums and see what everyone else thinks but then dam it I forgot. If it is hot like this next weekend I will take it over then and see what they think.

It isn't like I want to wear it out shopping, just around the house and to my parents place on a Sunday. Tim also has a habit of telling me I have a big bum and I do I know it and I know it looks bigger then it is because I have what some people call a sway back, you know when your lower back sways in then out again at your bottom well that how my back is so my bum does look big...

I am trying to just be happy with myself and how I look as I know I am doing all the right things to slim down and get fitter and healthier and stressing over how I look isn't helping it only makes me upset and depressed and I am fed up with those feelings.

Well I have done it I have started a blogspot blog so since I have no idea how this one works please people bear with me as I am learning.

I can hear my family saying now why or why Jo-Anne do you have to have another blog but they don't know the problems with bigblog I have to put up with.

I do not expect my family to come here very often, it will be up to them.
