I wonder if anyone would be surprise to read this about me that:
I have never had any ambition I just drift through
life.
We it’s true when I left high school I was asked a lot what do you want
to do now and I never had an answer but in the end I went to Tafe to do a
secretarially course but only because my friend Cathy wanted to do it and we
went together to the Tafe and both applied for the course and I got into it and
she didn’t. Which I think annoyed her at the time as I really didn’t care one
way or the other if I got into the course.
After finishing the course it was like what now back in those days it
was Centrelink who helped people find
jobs so I registered with them and got sent to some job interviews I did get a
job for 17 weeks which was supposed to give me
experience which would make it easier to get a job.
So I did that and then thought ok I really do not want a job I just want
to get married and have children…………which I ended up doing………………..
Getting married and having children is more difficult than any other job. It's 24/7. You don't get to retire till you die.

Janie Junebug
It's pretty obvious that you were meant to be a wife and mother. Good choice!!
ReplyDeleteNo ambition!? Like Janie said....tough job, crappy retirement plan.
ReplyDeleteYou done good.
i agree with al... being a full-time wife and mother is very ambitious! you've done great.
ReplyDeletethere's nothing wrong with not "working" you've got the hardest least appreciated and most important job in the world! my mama stayed home with me until i started school and it made a world of difference. i think ambition is over-rated. being content should be the main focus of life!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing what you were meant to do, and that you excel in it and love it just proof of that.
ReplyDeleteLove the family photo, Jo-Anne! You certainly found your vocation in being a good wife, mum and grandma. There's no better job in the world than that, so well done you for knowing exactly what it was that you wanted.
ReplyDeletei always love to hear people getting to do what then want to do and are meant to do and you my friend are brilliant at being a wife and mother
ReplyDeleteLife itself is ambitious enough!
ReplyDeleteBeing a mom is a tough job. Sometimes I want to pull my hair out, but it's all worth it in the end. Kids are so fun ;)
ReplyDeleteHaving a family is the only thing I care to do either. Our ambitions have nothing to do with the world or money. Only love.
