My Dogs Are Gone.............Gone.........I say..............insert happy dance here

Yesterday was a bloody busy day, far busier then my usual Saturday so busy in fact that I didn't write a post and only managed to read 22 blogs.

Now you may be wondering what I was doing well in the morning I went to Charilie to help mum make a Christmas layby of toys for her grandchildren. I also picked a few more things for my grandchildren and made another layby myself.

Then I come home have lunch and then washed the dogs so I could take them to Jessica's house, remember they are both her dogs and I no longer wanted them here. I am so fed up with taking care of them and the fact that I didn't want either of them doesn't help. So they have been bathed and taken to Jessica's house.

However, that was not as easy as it sounds, well the bathing them bit was I had no trouble with that, but when it came times to get them into the car to take them to Jessica's house. Dino ran off as soon as I opened the door and I had to get one of the neighbours grandchildren to help me catch him, all in all it took me 10minutes to catch him and but him in the car.

When I got to Jessica's she had both Leo and Blain there along with Kelli and Daemon, Kelli and the boys were staying the night and the boys were so excited to see the dogs. Leo said oh Dino I have missed you.............he sounded so cute.........

Today I went out and cleaned up the dog shit in the yard ok I only did about 70% of it as there was a lot due to all the wet weather we have had recently. Now I want Tim to get in and help me clean up the yard get rid of some crap that is out there along with all the old drink cans he has been collecting to cash in.

  3. Hey I'm curious about the cans...we get 10 cents per can. You NEVER see cans lying around the street. Not many states in the U.S. participate in can recycling.

    1. I wish we got that much for our cans we get 90cents a kilo, and Tim likes to collect them and cash them in and give the money to the grandkids...........I don't mind that but he lets them pile up and they become a mess and that is what annoyes me

  5. I never pick out things early for Christmas. When my daughter was little, she would change phases so fast it was always better to wait. Not cheaper, but still better.

    1. Yes that is a problem with laybying early sometimes you have to help they still into the same thing at Christmas

  6. My mum keeps talking about a dog and I feel selfish but I really hope she doesn't. I know that when her and dad take holidays it would be up to me to look after the dog, and i am really not a dog person

  7. I am not a dog person really. They just aren't very clean in my opionion and way more needy than cats. My dad though made a scooper thing with a coffee can and stick to pick up the mess in his backyard.

  8. Ugh the dog poo! We had our dog to poo in a certain area of the yard but then my husband built a patio and now My dog goes everywhere...trying to train him again to go in a particular place. Your daughter's dog are cute but I know you are relieved they are no longer with you.
    Blessings, Joanne

  10. Must be a load off your shoulders not having to tend to the dogs. Soon your yard will be clean and you will have time to rest. :-)
