This Is Yesterday's Post I Forgot About It So Here It Is A Day Late But Who Cares......................

Ok I wrote this for yesterdays post and forgot to post it got busy running around in the afternoon and when I got home I had to do tea and just didn't get back to the computer so here it is today.........

PMS.....................Not something I really suffered from my mood never changed during the month although there were times when I wished I could have blamed going off my head at the girls on something but no that wasn't the case.

Now the same can't be said for my daughters well two of them anyway yes I have two daughters who can be right bitches at that time of the month and no I am not going to tell you which two but I will tell you one of them is pregnant at the moment and take if from me her being pregnant is just as bad as her having PMS...............lol Except it lasts longer..............lol

Now every few months I would be so sick with period pain that I would end up in bed for the weekend but honestly I think it was more a case of stress and the fact that a few times a year I felt the need to crawl into bed and not be expected to take care of the family..................

I don't remember my own mum suffering from PMS either so maybe that is why I didn't, now of course it is not an issue since I am post menapausal and like my mum I never suffered from any bad effects of menapause my periods just stopped that is it, I did have a few hot flushes but only a few and that was all....................

I really didn't get why some people thought going through menapause was such a big deal, so was it a big deal for you, or is it something that you dread going through.................

  2. Very very scared of menopause but mainly because I'm scared I'll spend the next 10 years crying my way through it, kind of like I do when I'm PMSing...and I'm talkin' 'bout the UGLY CRY!

  3. I never had PMS and the only bothersome issue I had with menopause was insomnia (which runs in our family). Had some warm flushes vs hot flashes, I guess. Just has never been a big deal in my family. :)

  4. you are most fortunate not to have suffered too much with menopause Jo-Anne. menopause can be dibilitating and quite severe for some.

    1. I know some women suffer a lot with it and know that I am lucky to come from a family were it isn't an issue

  5. Hi Jo-Anne. I never suffered from PMS, but did suffer the most dreadful period pains month after month, as did my mum before me. Fortunately, I seemed to sail through the menopause with no problem, but I know that it can be horrific for some women. I guess we are the lucky ones in that respect!
