An Award, Some Shopping and Batman.................

I have been given this award the Kreative Blogger Award by Bev over at this blog: http://blackinkpaperie.blogspot.com.au if you haven’t paid her a visit before think about doing so now as she rocks…………..
The requirements:
1. Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog.
2. Answer 7 questions about yourself.
3. Provide 10 random factoids about yourself.
4. Hand the award to 7 deserving others

Now if anyone wants to claim this award for themselves then do so as all I am doing is saying that I got it………………………..lol

Moving on to today it has been a lovely day here fine and warm, well warmer than it has been but I still had to wear 2 pairs of socks and track pants and this afternoon I have my dressing gown on because it is no longer warm it is in fact starting to get cold……..

Tim has just left for work he will not be home till pretty late long after I am in bed asleep……lol

Yesterday since he wasn’t working he decided to come shopping with me but after I was half finished he was worn out and said he thought he had done enough walking for one day…………………….lol So I dropped him at home then went to do the rest of the shopping. Friday’s are a long and busy day for me I am up at around 7am and do not stop till sometime in the late afternoon.  So anyway yesterday I decided that instead of buying bread I would get bread rolls instead for a change, well Tim had a nice little whinge about that when it came time for him to make himself something to eat but I just let it go in one ear and out the other I was too exhausted to give a damn.

Also while we were shopping I found these Batman Dolls and said to Tim if he paid for one for Leo then I would pay for one for Blain. Actually I showed them to my mum before I saw Tim and said to her that I was going to ask him to get one for Blain and I would get one for Leo, and she looked at me and said I think you mean the other way around as he will be more willing to spend the money on Leo since Leo is a papa’s boy and Blain is nana’s boy……………..lol I was expecting him to complain more than he did but I could tell he wasn’t happy about it anyway as you can see I got them…………

They are now resting in my gift box ready to be given to the boys at Christmas time, Jessica saw them when she called in yesterday afternoon and loved him so much she wanted to take it and give to Leo right away but I said no they are Christmas presents. My gift box was empty in January and now only half way through the year it is nearly full again……lol

  2. Hi Jo-Anne. Another Award! Well done you - you must be doing something right. LOL!!! Love your mum's logic behind the batman dolls, and the boys will be thrilled with them, won't they? It is such a great idea to buy things throughout the year like this for Christmas, otherwise it's such a huge expense if you buy it all together. Can't believe how organized you are!! I love bread rolls... Another great post for us today.

  6. I've never known a guy who could shop all day long. But most of them can watch sports or play video games without a problem for hours and hours on end--LOL! ;)

  9. Congrats on the award. I can't think of a better person to receive it.

I also buy gifts ahead of time. Sometimes I see something that I think someone would like (on sale) and will get it for a future birthday, anniversary or Christmas... :). I confess I do MOST of my Christmas shopping after Christmas for the coming year. That can be a hazard if you don't remember what you bought and buy other stuff as well... LOL.
