Did you know...............do you want to know..................I am telling you anyway.......................

Did you know that rats can last longer than camels without water?

Did you know that candy canes were created in the 1600’s to pacify bored children during Christmas mass?

Did you know that nurses wash their hands more the doctors? Read it in the paper a few weeks back there was a survey done and it was found that nurses are more likely to wash their hands after using the toilet then doctors...............what the hell............

We all know that there was two Bush's as president of the U S A but who where the other father and son presidents................and yes I do know the answer...........I am sure every American can tell me how many presidents the county has had but how many Australians know how many Prime Minsters we have had along with who was the longest serving Prime Minister.

Lastly does anyone know who our Governor-General is...............

  3. The title of your post really made me smile this morning! You're going to tell us anyway! Not too happy about the Doctors washing their hands though (or rather NOT washing their hands!). It's hard to believe that rats can go longer than camels without water. You see, I WAS paying attention!

  6. John Adams and John Quincy Adams. We've also had a grandfather and grandson who were presidents. President Obama is #44. I think rats are so tough they will survive nuclear holocaust.

  7. Don't ever eat the mints sitting out at a restaurant. They will have urine on them since many men don't wash their hand. There have been studies, you know. :-)

    1. Which is why I wonder if they correlated the doctor/nurse hand washing to the gender percentages in each job...

    2. Ohhhh, I thought you were calling the urinal cakes "mints."
To which I think, "Well, duh."

    4. I never wash my hands. I don't want to touch the filthy faucets and paper towel dispensers. I wear gloves at all times and change them frequently.

    5. I wear disposable gloves a lot and I know what you mean about taps and door handles having a bloody lot of germs

  8. Yeah, but try riding a rat in the desert.
Add communion wine and the kiddies will never act up in Mass.
That's funny. I would have thought doctors had more patients than that.
Well, rubber gloves would help mask the toilet yuck, but...YUCK!
I do know the other father-son, but the very sad thing is that probably MOST Americans don't.
Sorry, I don't know who your Governor-General is. They don't return my calls.

    1. I wonder if camels like rats or are they like elephants, or maybe they just like to stand on the rats they see in the desert, yeah I would had thought doctors would wash their hands more but we live and learn. Our Governor-General is Quentin Bryce

  9. And the washing hands thing reminded me of an old joke.
A sailor and a Marine walk into the bathroom and up to a urinal.
Once they zipped/buttoned up, the sailor starts to immediately walk out. The Marine stops him and says, "You know, in the Marines, they teach us to wash our hands after a visit to the head."
The sailor answers, "In the Navy, they tell us not to piss on our hands."
He was probably a doctor, though.

  10. Wow you come up with the most interesting posts. I hate to imagine the report of how many doctors don't wash their hands after using the restroom. :-)
