Good morning blogland, today here in Australia it is Father's Day so I will be going over to my parents place for lunch.
However Tim will not be coming with me as he has been pretty sick since Tuesday, in fact he has been the sickest I have seen him in 15yrs. He said he would love to go as he hasn't seen mum & dad in ages and he misses them, but he doesn't want to risk getting dad sick.
Kathy-Lee rang and spoke to her dad, then she spoke to me to tell me she isn't well and neither is Summer and she isn't sure if she should come to lunch I said if they are both sick then maybe they shouldn't come. The will come over her to see Tim sometime today though. Ok just got a message from Kathy she said she will pop in to see pop as she misses him.
I gave Tim this for Father's Day and he loves it................he likes things like this.
I hope he gets to feeling better soon, and that you all have a great time at your parents~

DeleteHope Tim feels well soon. Have a good lunch with your Dad. My Dad has long gone but I still miss him. Bill got a call from daughter 1. in Sydney and daughter 2 in LA.

DeleteIt's hard when a spouse or parent is doing poorly. I do hope all feel better soon or stays that way and are able to enjoying life to the fullest. Happy father's to your guys.

Thankfully Tim is doing better and has gone to work today and dad is doing a lot better, Kathy well she is getting there.

ReplyDeleteYes Tim was very happy with the pen camera and in fact said he had a good day, both Kathy & Jessica came to see him Natasha rang in the evening but didn't bother to come and see him

DeleteHope he feels better, but that is the COOLEST pen! I once bought Tony an engraved brick (with his name) in the NASCAR hall of fame to be installed in the walkway when it was being built for, Christmas. He went into work and people asked what I got him for Christmas. He replied "A brick."

People didn't know weather it was the worst or best gift ever. :)
Yeah Tim is really happy with the pen, not sure how he would have reacted to the brick gift......I guess if you are a big NASCAR fan it might be a cool gift

ReplyDeleteTomorrow is Labor Day here. Which has to do with working men and women. Not the kind of labor which results in conjunction with being a father.
Thanks, I think we have Labor Day here too but it is in October for our state, the different states have it at different times of the year
