Taken From Facebook................about all the good mothers

I saw this on Facebook yesterday so had to share it here because I think it is just so bloody spot on.

To the mum who's breastfeeding: way to go! It really is an amazing gift to give your baby, for any amount of time that you can manage! You're a good mum.

To the mum who's formula feeding: isn't science amazing? To think there was a time when a baby with a mother who couldn't produce enough would suffer, but now? Better living through chemistry! You're a good mum.

To the cloth nappy mum: fluffy bums are the cutest, and so friendly on the bank account. You're a good mum.
To the disposable nappy mum: damn those things hold a lot, and it's excellent to not worry about leakage and laundry! You're a good mum.

To the mum who stays home: I can imagine it isn't easy doing what you do, but to spend those precious years with your babies must be amazing. You're a good mum.

To the mum who works: It's wonderful that you're sticking to your career, you're a positive role model for your children in so many ways, it's fantastic. You're a good mum.

To the mum who had to feed her kids from the drive though all week because you're too worn out to cook or go grocery shopping: You're feeding your kids, and hey, I bet they aren't complaining! Sometimes sanity can indeed be found in a red box with a big yellow M on it. You're a good mum.

To the mum who gave her kids a home cooked breakfast lunch and dinner for the past week: Excellent! Good nutrition is important, and they're learning to enjoy healthy foods at an early age, a boon for the rest of their lives. You're a good mum.

To the mum with the kids who are sitting quietly and using their manners in the fancy restaurant: Kudos, it takes a lot to maintain order with children in a place where they can't run around. You're a good mum.

To the mum with the toddler having a meltdown in the cereal aisle: they always seem to pick the most embarrassing places to lose their minds don't they? We've all been through it. You're a good mum.

Sometimes we all need to hear this, and stop judging each other, and celebrate our differences.

Please share this with all the mummies you know, they may need to hear these words!

How Many Children Do I Have................

How many children do you have? How many children do I have?

Sounds like a simple question doesn't it..............well I have 5 daughters.............no I know many of you will read that and thing no you don't Jo-Anne you have 3 daughters and you would be right. I have 3 daughters along with a sister who is like my daughter, she is 16yrs younger than me and I have always thought of her as my baby girl and yes when she was a baby there were times when not only did people mistake her for my daughter I would like to pretend she was my baby girl..............lol Then there is my sweetheart who is my youngest daughter who isn't my daughter Kelli.........

So I have my "baby girl" Sandy Mae, my "precious 1st born" Kathy-Lee, my "darling daughter" Natasha, my "special girl" Jessie Mae, & my "sweetheart" Kelli............see I have 5 daughters and they are all so special to me and I am proud of each and every one of them............they are all different but it is what makes them different that makes them so dear to me..............

Nothing Much or my Boring Everyday Life

Hello everyone what a lovely kindof wet trying to be sunny day it is and I have just had a nice bowel of porriage and Leo is also having a bowel of porriage and he is watching Adventure Time. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1305826/

Nows some of you may have wondered were I was yesterday, well I was busy busy busy and hardle opened the laptop let alone get online.

I did leave a Facebook post about how my neice was only inviting a few people to her wedding as they just can't afford to have a large wedding, this was done so that my daughters and my sisters kids would know why they didn't get invited but some cousin we don't talk to and my niece has never evern meet left a few upsetting comments about not being invited and I ended up deleting the whole post. I do not get why she felt the need to say anything at all.

Moving on today I have nothing planned except a trip out to the library followed by a trip to Coles (supermarket) if I can remember what it is I forgot yesterday because right now I can't remember what it was.................lol

Ok tonight I have Blain here for the night it will be just me and him since Tim is will be at work so I hope he is ok when I need to go to bed early as I often do unless I manage to get to have a nap, which I doubt I will since I reckon by the time I can have a nap Blain will be here.

Last night when we went to bed Leo had to be carried into bed kicking and screaming and guess what he was asleep in less then 10 minutes............and he slept all night waking around 8am when he woke me up.  We have noticed a change in him he seemed a little more grown up last night and he is so cute when writing his name and even showed me how he could write his mums name "mummy"................

Ok I will post this then head on out to the library oh yeah I have to go to Big W to return the track pants I bought yesterday I got the wrong size not my fault the hanger had my size on it but the pants were a different size how bloody annoying............

We want to know..........or you want to know............or really no one wants to know.....................

{no. 1} How connected are you to your phone?
Very if I don't have it I feel lost and hate to leave the house without it, I always feel if I have no phone I am likely to have an accident or break down.
{no. 2} Would you be able to be away from your computer for an entire week?
No I went to New Zealand and took the labtop with me.............
{no. 3} If you had to get rid of one of the following, which would it be and why?
Don't ask me that how could I do without either.............lol
{no. 4} Do you think you could ever live off the grid?
No I don't think so, I like my comforts and such
{no. 5} Tell us about a time you disconnected from technology/the world and how you dealt with it. Was it good or bad?
I can't remember the last time I was diconnected so honestly have no answer for this, I reckon I wouldn't have felt very good about it...............lol

We Want to Know................well maybe you do maybe you don't but here are my Q & A's anyway

1. If we met up for coffee what would we talk about?
Family of course and how our other half really pisses us off...............lol

I am a glutten................for punishment.................lol

I am sometimes a glutten for punishment, why do I say that................well because I went over to Jessica's to take her some oil for her car and pick Leo up to watch while she did something for Jono & Kelli. I agreed to take not just Leo but Blain as  well it was only suppose to be for a couple of hours but it will be much longer as over an hour after I had picked the boys up they still hadn't left for the trip to Lemon Tree Passage that will take nearly an hour each way.............

I also watch Summer for Kathy while she took Sydney to the park for some mummy and Sydney time, I had Summer when I went to Jessica's and then when Kathy and Sydney returned Sydney was excited to see her cousins and all thre of them went outside to play.  In fact Sydney didn't want to leave and Kathy had to carry to the car and fight her to get her seat belt on.

The boys played out the front for a while but Leo was wondering off so I made them come inside and watch tv.

Now they are asking for Macdonalds for tea and I have said ok but we are not eating in I am willing to get them something from the drive through and then come home to eat it........why because I am a big softie....................lol

Damn it is getting cold outside, I just went to get the sheets off the line and it felt good to come inside again.

Uncle John and a strange happening

Do you have a relative that comes to you in your dreams?

I ask this because last night 6th May 2013 I was dreaming and again my uncle John was in it, he is often in my dreams. He passed away around 14yrs ago and yes he was my favourite uncle anyway not the point, last night in my dream he was sitting on a lounge and I said something to him and he replied that he was just watching telly and then the tv at the foot of our bed turned on.

I thought what the hell and turned to Tim to ask him why he turned the tv on but he was asleep and snoring his head off...........lol So he hadn't turned the se on I had to turn on the light to find the remote in order to turn the tv off.

This took place at the Grand Mecure Inn at Nelson in New Zealand and when I told Tim today about it he also thought it was strange and yes we both know it may have been a coindence but it was bloody strange.

Nothing Much Going On Here

Ok I have been so busy the last few days that I haven't had a chance to do another post but here I am on  a beatiful Saturday at last sitting to write a post but not sure how long it will take to get it written as I have to watch baby Summer while Kathy & Michael go to a house inspection they are trying to find a house to buy...............well it is Michael's parents who are buying the house for them but they will be the ones making the payments.

I have Jessica and Leo still here so at the moment Jessica is feeding Summer while I sit here are type. As I said today is a beautiful day it is fine and sunny but not that warm but not that cold either it is cool enough to be wearing long pants though.

Anyway what have I been upto since I last wrote...............hmmmmm..................let me think................answer nothing much............lol l was shopping all day yesterday and in the afternoon felt stuffed up in the head so took some cold tablets they are suppose to be non drowsy but they still made me tired............so I was in bed early. I left Leo with papa when I went to bed..............

Speaking of Leo he is doing really good at school the staff even gave him a 10 out of 10 for behaviour.
I just had to do a spot of car/ute repairing ok not really but I did manage to get the tire back on Leo's toy remote control ute he had ran it into a wall and the back tire came off so nanna had to repair it and get it going again.

I have now had lunch and played with Summer before rocking her to sleep and putting her into her bassanett.

I hope to read some blogs this afternoon............

Home Again...................and I am glad to be home

Home again we arrive home at around 8pm on Sunday night, and I was so happy to get home the first thing I did was have a hot bath then food but thankfully since we flew QANTAS  again which meant we were fed on the flight home. The food was nice too and Tim liked that he was able to have a screwdriver (vodka & OJ).

I did get a little annoyed with Tim as we both wanted to go to the toilet but first we wanted to find were the shuttle bus was which we did and after finding were to wait for it he decided to wonder off and find a toilet and in doing so caused us to miss the shuttle bus as it came while he was gone and didn’t wait around. So we had to get the next shuttle which meant a wait of 40minutes so I was annoyed. Tim was also annoyed mostly with himself for wondering off and agreed he should had waited or asked if anyone knew how long it would be till the shuttle would arrive.

I also had close to 900 emails when I returned to my main email account as I was unable to check that one while we were gone most of those were blog post that I follow via email so I just deleted pretty much all of the emails with exception of maybe 5 emails………………

We visited some lovely places and I did have a good time more or less……………………….by that I mean there was a couple of days that I wasn’t real happy in fact I felt pretty down and sad and just wanted to come home. We were gone a total 10 days 9 nights as we left on the Friday afternoon after Tim got home from work and the trip to Sydney took forever as we got stuck in peak hour traffic but it was good that we didn’t have to leave early on the Saturday morning to catch our flight.

We are not ones to spend a long time away from our family; we miss them too much when we are away from them.

So I am back making the blog rounds and have to say I have really missed it but just didn’t have the time to do so when we were away that and the fact that you don’t get good free internet service while travelling………..lol

Anyway here a few more photos of our holiday
