Damn have I been busy

What a couple of days I have had on Thursday I started to read some blogs got around to about 24 blogs but then Summer was taking up a lot of my time and Leo was here and he wanted to use the computer so I let him while I dealt with Summer and as it turned out I just didn't have either the time of feeling to get back to it. 

Then yesterday being Friday meant I just didn't have the time I was so busy yesterday, in the morning I took Leo with me to Charlie for breakfast with the family he loved seeing everyone. When he saw my mum & dad walking up he runs up to them and mum goes to give him a hug but he ran straight past her to dad.  

He was well behaved ate all his breakfast and had some fun with Dawson then after breakfast we went to Big W so I could make layby payments and while we were there we saw dad again but didn't stop just kept on walking after say hi, however as we were leaving the store Leo suddnely said " I forgot to say bye to him" I ask who and he says "poppy" he wanted to go back and find him to say goodbye to him but I said no we were not going back looking for him.

While we were in Target his mum arrived with his medication because silly nanna for got to take his medication with her, anyway we crashed his tablet on a spoon added a little water and he took it no problem. 

So all in all he was a good boy, then yesterday afternoon we had Blain here, he stayed the night. Although with Blain the first thing he says when he wakes up is "can you take me home now" which I did so now I am home here for the day alone till this afternoon when I am going to go over to Kathy's and watch her girls while her and Michael go to his mums 60th. 

I was going to watch them here but Kathy would prefer me to watch them at her place so I will go there, it is only for a few hours and it will be easier for her. 

So this moring I check my emails and I have a total of 180 unread emails that I will have to go through.

This morning I was going to go and have my back xray done, but I haven't found an open place well there is one place at Cardiff that is open but I do not want to go there so I think I will leave it till Monday morning to have it done.

What a day I have had this morning I went to Charlie and made another layby for Jessica at Target, it was another Christmas toy layby and while I was at it I also made a layby for myself of some toys. 

After that I went over to the doctors to see my GP about my back and the constant nausea feeling I have, by the time I got there I could barely walk. Anyway she has sent me for an xray of my back which I will have in the morning and gave me a script of Maxolon to  help with the nausea but did she give me a repeat on the script no.................that is annoying oh well.
Anyway when I got home I started the ironing, had to iron hubby a work shirt but in the end only managed to iron two shirts because Kathy turned up with her girls and I don't like having a hot iron with a toddler around. 

Well Kathy tells me she ran into my parents when she was at the doctors surgery this morning, she had to go and get the results of Summer's hip ultrasound which was normal no problem was found. Anyway she tells me that while she was there she watched my niece Liarna while nanna & pop where in with the doctor, then she went back to nans place and was prepared to stay and watch Liarna while mum took dad to have a brain scan done. However my sister in-law Leigh turned up and took Liarna home with her. 

Now you are wondering why dad had to have a brain scan well it seems that on Sunday afternoon he had a small (mini) stroke, of course he didn't go to the hospital when it happened.  He hates hospitals and doctors and he sees a lot of doctors since the lung cancer in 2009.
Ok I wrote this yesterday but for some reason I forgot to post it...............

So here I am on Tuesday morning finishing it and posting it. 

This morning I went to have my back xray but when I get to  the xray place they are closed, there was a sign on the door saying they were closed due to unforeseen circumstances. How annoying, I will ring them this afternoon or in the morning and see what is the go is.........

Yesterday was a bloody busy day, far busier then my usual Saturday so busy in fact that I didn't write a post and only managed to read 22 blogs.

Now you may be wondering what I was doing well in the morning I went to Charilie to help mum make a Christmas layby of toys for her grandchildren. I also picked a few more things for my grandchildren and made another layby myself.

Then I come home have lunch and then washed the dogs so I could take them to Jessica's house, remember they are both her dogs and I no longer wanted them here. I am so fed up with taking care of them and the fact that I didn't want either of them doesn't help. So they have been bathed and taken to Jessica's house.

However, that was not as easy as it sounds, well the bathing them bit was I had no trouble with that, but when it came times to get them into the car to take them to Jessica's house. Dino ran off as soon as I opened the door and I had to get one of the neighbours grandchildren to help me catch him, all in all it took me 10minutes to catch him and but him in the car.

When I got to Jessica's she had both Leo and Blain there along with Kelli and Daemon, Kelli and the boys were staying the night and the boys were so excited to see the dogs. Leo said oh Dino I have missed you.............he sounded so cute.........

Today I went out and cleaned up the dog shit in the yard ok I only did about 70% of it as there was a lot due to all the wet weather we have had recently. Now I want Tim to get in and help me clean up the yard get rid of some crap that is out there along with all the old drink cans he has been collecting to cash in.

Favourite Waste Of Time

What is your favourite thing to do when you have free time?

Ok I will tell you what it is, I love to do......................drum roll..................

Yeah that's right nothing I like to sit in the quiet and do nothing, not read, not watch tv, not blog..............nothing................however that doesn't happen very often I am usually to busy to do nothing. 

My second best thing to do is to sit and watch tv while doing nothing else, because let's be honest here I spend most of my tv watching either blogging, doing housework, cooking, taking care of babies, reading or doing puzzles. So to just sit and watch tv is nice also, although most of the time while I am just sitting I end up thinking about stuff that need to be done. So up I get and stuff I do....................

Fears

When is a fear a phobia?  

Do you have a phobia or fear?

My youngest daughter suffers from odontophobia or dentophiba both are the same thing a fear of the dentist she has not been to a dentist in many years the last time she went they made her wait so long in the waiting room she had a mini breakdown and ended up in tears.

Me I am scared of open heights, I wouldn’t say I have Acrophobia since I am not scared of all heights only open heights, but I think it is pretty common to have a fear of open heights since who wants to fall……….lol

Now what gets me is when I hear people say to get over a fear you must face your fear…………..talk about stupid……..if you are afraid of dying do you have to die to get over the fear I don’t think that will work somehow since once you are dead you more or less stay dead…………………lol

Some fears may be overcome if you face them like Jessica’s fear of the dentist if she went she may be able to overcome it but then maybe not. 

I use to have anxiety attacks when I was faced with going somewhere new or meeting new people, however as I have gotten older that has lessened.

Public Funerals

What do you think about funerals for people killed in accidents that get on the news and are these big things?

Sometimes I will see these funerals on the news and can’t help but get annoyed not at the senseless death or how sad it is, don’t get me wrong these things do bother me and upset me like the whole Jill Meagher thing and the death of Hazel Hawke both of whom I believe where wonderful women.

However, are they any more loved them me or you and will out funeral or death make the news, I doubt it. I don’t know why it is that I get annoyed over these things and it doesn’t happen all the time it is just that sometimes I can’t help but think you are no more special than my mum or sibling………..

I know many of you may think I am being too…………………….something………………..or other………………but this how I feel.
