Do you run late of a morning..................not me.....................

Are you forever running late of a morning, no matter what time you get up you are always running late, maybe you should true preparing for the morning the evening before. I know there are those who say you should get up 15 minutes earlier but for some that doesn't work because no matter what time the get up they still end up running late.

I know if I have a busy day ahead of me............aka.............Friday...........I sort out in my head a couple of different outfits to wear and then I write my shopping list and put it in my bag. I will also take out my shopping bags to the car the night before so I don't have to worry about that in the morning.

I like to get up and go for a walk first thing of a morning but today I didn't go as when I got up it was raining and I will not walk in the rain, I don't mind if it is a little drizzle but not steady rain.

I am more likely to oversleep if the weather is cold, overcast and or wet so in that type of weather I do need and alarm, but most of the time I just think about what time I have to get up in the morning and I will wake up at the right time.

I am one of those people who can get up dressed and be out of the house in 15 minutes if I want to as long as I don't muck around with what to wear, this includes applying make up.

  1. I don't usually run late but I have to keep an eye on the clock to make sure it stays that way. For instance, today, I have an appointment at my house. So, you'd think that'd be easy - no worries about driving or anything. But, my hubby has to get ready for work. We had a storm last night so he's repairing things in the yard before heading into the shower. That's putting me behind getting into the shower…I have to make sure I don't allow myself to get distracted by the Challenge instead of getting ready. =P

  2. Mornings don't mean much to me. I rarely schedule anything during the morning. I am not a morning person.

  3. I usually do pretty good in the mornings. One of my boys gets on the school bus early and I drive the other to school later. We both do safety patrol at school so we have to be on time.

  4. I tend to run late a lot in the morning if things are scheduled before 8:30 AM. I get up at 5:30, wall from 6 to 7, eat breakfast, shower and clean up the kitchen and make the beds so it is at least 8 when I am ready to leave the house. SOOO if I have to be somewhere before 8:30 it is a push.

    1. Usually doesn't happen for me either, I have too much to do of a morning to be able to stay in bed

  6. I am normally a morning person and love the quiet of the mornings. I occasionally find myself running late but thankfully it is not a frequent thing. When I find myself rushing I try to slow down and regroup before I forget something important. :-)
