Do you have a favourite colour?
I for most of my life never thought much
about having a favourite colour but recently I was talking to my
granddaughter Sydney-May and she asked me what my favourite colour
was and after thinking for a moment my answer was purple, I like
different shades of purple and I also like different shades of pink
I don't like hot pink the shades have to be softer shades also not
big on deep purple I prefer the softer shades of purple.
When I was younger I liked to wear black a
lot and yes still do like black but the older I get the more I like
lighter and brighter colours. Although when it comes to prints I am
not great at mixing prints if I wear a skirt that has a print I
usually go for a block colour top and if I wear a block coloured
skirt I will chose a printed top but I don't wear two different
prints as I can't get them to mix when I have tried to wear two
different prints they clash. Well I think they clash.
How are you at mixing prints can you do it
or are you like me and feel they clash so you don't bother.
When I go out shopping or to have a meal I
like to look nice, I like to wear some make-up and some jewellery and
for many years a nice pair of heels. However, my days of wearing
heels are long gone, I don't have the balance for heels now days and
my knees are not good when I am wearing heels so I have moved onto
shoes with only a slight heel. I can't wear flats as they make my
legs ache, a lot.
I have a lot of jewellery not expensive
stuff but nice looking cheaper stuff and I am one of those people who
likes her jewellery to match. Hell I also like my eye-shadow to match
what I am wearing, as in if I am wearing a pink top I will have pink
eye-shadow if I am wearing black I will have a greyish eye-shadow. My
girls tell me at times that I should wear neutral colour eye-shadow
but that is not me. I also like to wear panty hose and knee high
stockings if I am wearing long pants or a long skirt.

like to see women who have make-up on and some jewellery.
Do you think bare legs are nicer then legs
in panty hose?
I don't really have a favourite colour but I love soft pastel colours. I am not into bright colour and seldom wear black because I feel hot and sweat a lot in black. Wear a little make up but almost none now that I have retired and prefer the natural look. No more jewelry maybe except a small ear ring on special occasion and in our hot weather, I prefer bare legs.
ReplyDeleteYeah in summer when it's stinking bloody hot I prefer bare legs with thongs, and black can make you hot if you wear it in the summer months
DeleteHi Jo-Anne, I don't really have a favourite colour, but as I'm getting older I am preferring some brighter colours now but not keen on red. Black is my favourite for pants then I can wear bright tops & match it with jewellery depending on how I feel. I do like wearing rings but wait for birthdays when my husband sometimes spoils me, I have 3 grand daughters so I am trying to get enough for myself to wear now so I can leave them some later. They all love looking at my rings & trying them on.
ReplyDeleteYeah I like black pants so I can wear a nice top with it as anything goes with black. I use to wear a lot of rings but recently my hands have been swelling up a bit so I haven't been wearing them

Mostly wear sandals, winter flat shoes.
Like purple, red and also black.
Wear jewelry but it's not costume jewelry.
I only wear costume jewellery because I have a habit of losing stuff.

I like bright colored tops but tend to wear slacks that are dark. Most of the time I wear jeans. As for makeup, I wear a small amount of makeup, usually lipstick and blush.
ReplyDeleteJewelry, I wear my wedding and engagement rings, a watch and earrings. I own a lot of nice jewelry but only wear it occasionally.
I also like to wear jeans I have three pairs black, blue and red and love them in the cooler months.
Delete99% of my jewellry is cheap stuff but it is also nice looking stuff and I don't stress out if I loss a piece
My favorite colors seem to change as I get older. I love lavender but basically I like all colors except for orange. It's a beautiful color for a pumpkin or orange but not for me to wear, or decorate with.

DeleteMy favorite color has always been blue. I also stopped wearing jewelry after those mean boys beat me up in 6th grade.
ReplyDeleteNatasha's favourite colour is blue just saying and those mean boys beating you up for wearing jewellry how nasty, lol. Although now days it is pretty common place to see young men with ear rings and rings on fingers as such couldn't imagine that being the fad a couple of hundred years ago

ReplyDeleteI don't like to wear flats either! I like chunky heels or wedges, no stilettos for me! And I don't like them to be too high either.
Well that is good to hear, I used to wear chunky heel and wedges all the time
