CREATURE DAY

Hello world, hello Tuesday, hows life treating you all, good I hope.

This weeks extreme creature is the Saltwater Crocodile, heard of it, of course you have. Often referred to as Saltie.

There is no bigger reptile in the world, males can grow as long as seven metres, females only grow to half that. Their jaws are strong enough to crush a cow's skull, in fact it is among the strongest of any creature.

They have a lifespan of 70yrs.

  1. I sure don't want to be chased by one, nor caught by one but I admire those critters! How their heritage is so antique.

  2. Wow. I would be scared if I lived around them. That's why I would never live in our gulf states here in the US - I don't do those gators or crocs. No way.

HOWEVER, they are interesting creatures that I do respect. and in their own special way, they are beautiful.

  4. Yikes! I'm glad I won't ever encounter one in the wild, that they're not native to Canada!
