Busy Time, and it's hot and a bit about Little Leo

Well what a busy few days I have had doing what…………shopping of course…………….lol. Even this morning I went to the shops after I picked Jes & Leo up and had dropped Jes off at her cousins house. Leo and I went out so he could get a Christmas present for his mum, he picked it out and he a little trouble deciding, we were walking into a store for me to buy him a toy but on the way we walked pass a table of stuff and he goes “woo mum would like this” so we stopped and he looked and decided on something. He was a good boy and after there we headed to another store, but then I got a phone call from Jes to say that her friend Jono wanted to talk to Leo…………..Leo calls Jono “dad” he knows Jono isn’t his dad but is Blain’s dad, Blain is Leo’s cousin. 

Well the reason Jono wanted to talk to Leo was because yesterday Leo was sent home from day care again this time for punching a little girl in the face. Yes you read that right he punched a little girl, so Jono wanted to have a talk to him about that. He wanted to know why Leo did it and made sure Leo knew it was very wrong to punch anyone let alone a girl and that boys should never ever hit a girl. 

Tomorrow is Jono’s birthday he will be 25 and yes I gave him a birthday present only a $10 gift card for Jay Jays and I also have a Christmas present for him but he doesn’t get that till Christmas Day. I do not think it is right to give combined birthday/Christmas presents; his birthday should be a special day on its own. 

Today Tim is working so it is just me and Leo here, and what a bloody hot day it is I have the air con going and I am feeling so drained because of the heat.  At the moment I am having a disagreement with Leo he wants to go outside but I have said no it is to hot outside and he can watch tv or play in the bedroom. I just rang his mum and had her talk to him I hope he will be better now. I have Leo because Jess is at Jono’s for the night to have a few drinks with him and just hang out I will pick her up in the morning. 

I was going to do the ironing today but it is too hot for me so maybe I will get around to it tomorrow. I have told mum that I would like to go to the cemetery to leave something on pops grave, the something is this which I found on Facebook I have printed and laminated it for her. 

My Door and More

Yesterday I was reading over at KariAnne's blog about her front door so this made me think of my front door what do people think when they see my front doors at this time of year, what does say about the type of person I am really I am not the one to answer this question it is for others to answer so her I am asking others what they think when they see my doors. While talking about Christmas ok I didn't mention the word Christmas in the last paragraph but anyway here are a couple of shots of my dining table covered in Christmas presents still have a couple to wrap but only a couple..............

I will be going out shopping with Kathy-Lee today when after her doctor’s appointment she still needs to get some things. I am happy to go with her, she doesn’t handle crowds and finds it a bit easier if she has someone with her and I do like to go shopping with my daughters.

This and That

Another busy day here in Jo-Anne’s life although I did manage to sleep into 7am funny there was a time I wouldn’t have thought of 7am as a sleep in but when I am usually up at 6or 6.30 then it does feel like a sleep in. Tomorrow I will be up early again as I have to drive to Jessica’s place to pick Leo up and take him to day care as her car is still at the mechanics no idea yet what is wrong with it or how much it is going to cost………………………grrrr

The parcel I was expecting arrived today, so I am feeling much better and talked to mum about what else I can get dad so have a plan with that. 

Also tomorrow I will be going with mum to see nan as it is Wednesday and she also wants to pop up to Wakefield school to drop of a Christmas present for Dawson’s teacher and the principal. On the topic of Christmas presents I pissed off my daughter Kathy this afternoon she rang and asked me if I wanted to go shopping with her and I said no I didn’t want to go out again oh well she will get over it.

After a cool day here yesterday it has been warm again today and tomorrow will be hotter at this stage they are saying we will have a bloody hot Christmas Eve and a much cooler Christmas Day but we will see.

I guess tomorrow if I get time I will have to wrap some more presents yes more presents it is a wonder that Tim hasn’t said anything this year about how many presents I have bought not that complaining would change anything……………..lol

Today I picked up my printer but haven’t tried it out yet may get around to doing that tomorrow, Tim bought a new printer for his computer but since his new laptop doesn’t have a cd drive he had to download the program for it from the internet but I still can’t get it work so he may have to buy a cd drive and see how that works out…………….

Gifts, Cars and the Weather........that's all I got

 

Ok Christmas will be here in just over a week and I am getting worried every year I place orders with 2 different hamper companies Chrisco and Hamper King and this year for the first time ever they have mucked up my orders.

One gift a set of 3 candle holders came with 1 off them broken and they refunded me only $5.00 for the broken one not happy……………add to that it wasn’t till on last Thursday I realised they hadn’t sent me the sheet set I ordered for my daughter so they said they will refund me that money but still that is one gift I don’t have. That was Chrisco stuff up

Now I have not received 2 other gifts from Hamper King as I type this I am waiting for Hamper King to pick up so I can speak to someone I hope they get here before the end of the week……….I bet they tell me they have been sent and should arrive by the end of the week but we will see.

On the topic of gifts I have a heap of things I bought Friday and Saturday that I need to sort through and wrap/bag but can’t do it till Jessica and Leo go home which will be sometime today. 

I however will have to drive them home as Jessica’s car is really playing up and she doesn’t want to drive it, it goes to the mechanic tomorrow morning to see what is wrong with it and since the mechanic is just up the road from me she has asked me to take it up so she does have to go home and come back tomorrow and of course I said I would do that for her. I hope it isn’t going to cost too much to get repaired my next door neighbour said he thinks it is something to do with the “drive plate” whatever that is. 

The weather here is so mixed up at the moment yesterday it was stinking bloody hot till late in the evening had the air cons going all day and most of the night and today it is cool and overcast and by Thursday it is supposed to be stinking hot again.

Thank You Doesn't Seem Enough

First up today is that I would like to say sorry for not being around much the last couple of days, there has just been so many things to do mostly shopping and on Thursday I went with mum and dad to Dawson's presentation day and Friday was flat out shopping and then this morning I had to go and do more shopping and now I have to sort through what I have bought but moring on to the reason for todays post.

The gift was a gift certificate from Indulgences Beauty Therapy: http://www.indulgences.com.au now I knew she was getting me a gift ceritifcate but I was only expecting it to be maybe $20 or $30 and what do I get a $100 voucher damn when I saw it I felt like crying. 

I have since told everyone about the gift certificate I am so bloody excited and there is no way I can ever thank Bethany enough for her generosity all I can do is say a big thank you. I am one lucky woman………………
