A Rainforest and some Pancake Rocks

Good afternoon everyone we are now in Greymouth staying at the Kingsgate Hotel have to say it is another nice place, it is an older place well let me say that a bit different the place doesn't look old in any way from the outside and in the loby and reception areas but in the room its self you can tell that it is an older place the bathroom looks old but it has a bath.......and those of you who know me at all know that I love to have a bath more then I like showers...........

Anyway today after we left the motel we stoped at the Charleston Nile River Rainforest Train, this is a short ride in train up through the rainforest and I have to say it was bloody awesome.

We then headed towards Greymouth but we stopped at a place called Punakaiki and went for a walk to look at the Pancake Rocks and blowholes it was also bloody mavellous we hadn't planed to stop there but I had to go to the toilet and that was why we stopped and we both were glad we did.

Yesterday afternoon I decided to oder breakfast at the motel for this morning which we did but for some reason Tim ordered 2 hot breakfast which I thought was a silly thing to do when he did it but he thought he knew best and of course he only ate maybe half of his and I ate 3/4 of mine. I had suggested we order one meal and share it but no he knew best.............I do at times get annoyed that he doesn't listen to me.

The Wow Musuem

Today is Tuesday the 7th May and I am sitting in the car writing this while Tim goes for a bush walk through the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary I would had gone with him but it is both cold and a lot of uphill walking well it looked to be a lot of uphill walking I started out with him but it looked to steep for me and I am not that interested anyway, so I decided to sit in the car and wait for Tim. www.brooksanctuary.org.nz

This morning we wnet to the World of Wearable Art & Classic Car Museum and that was really nice I like old cars and the wearable art was interesting ok some of it was jus plain ugly but still we enjoyed it. www.wowcars.co.nz

I do find it annoying not being able to access the internet from our motel room but oh well such is life I guess, at least it gives me a reason to go to Macca's for breakfst each day.....lol

Tim likes wildlife and birds and I love old stuff so while we are away we try to see both types of attractions.

Tim had to buy a new camera as his started taking blurry photos but he had it for around 5yrs and has taken countless photos with it, the new camera is the same brand as the old on and that was just a fluke.

A great day

Well here I am writing this again the night I will post it since there is no internet here, ok there is internet that I have to pay for and have to go down to reception to log on so when I say no internet I mean no internet in the room. It has been a long day and I can't be bothered to do that so I will post this in the moring when we go to Macca's for breakfast.
Now what have we been doing today well after arriving here in Nelson we first stopped at Macca's for lunch and I posted todays blog and checked my emails then we came here to check in. We were upgraded to a better room no charge of course and have to this room is really nice, ok it's not a room it's a cottage meaning we have a lounge room, kitchen and bedroom with a ensuite bathroom and yes it is very nice. We are staying at the Grand Mercure Nelson, www.monacoresort.co.nz

Anyway after we checked in we headed back into town and I went for a wander around the Nelson Provincial Museum while Tim wander around the shops and yes I liked it and found it very interesting. www.nelsonmuseum.co.nz

We then went to the Founders Heritage Park which was bloody awesome and it only cost $7 each to get in and we took some bloody great photos while there, it took us nearly 2hrs to wonder around the park and I would highly recomend this to others. www.founderspark.co.nz

Tonight I am feeling a little tipsy as I have had a couple of strong scotch and cokes since getting to the motel, but what the hell why should Tim be the only one to have a bit to drink.

Our second day the the ferry

So here I am sitting on the bed with the laptop on my knees watching nothing much so thought I would write about tonight's dinner we ate in the motor inn's restaurant all we got was pizza and garlic bread and have to say that both the pizza and the garlic bread were really yummy  by far the best pizza I have had in years, Tim agreed and he is a fussy man when it comes to his pizza.

This is a picture of the pizza yeah I remembered to have Tim take a photo. We get to have a sleep in tomorrow since we have nothing planned and don't have to be at the ferry terminal till 1.30pm and don't have to check out till 10am, so that means a sleep in................

We will be catching a public bus to the ferry terminal as the bus stop is only a 2minute walk from the motor inn.

SUNDAY 5th
This morning we slept in till 8.30am and the we headed over to the bus stop and caught the bus to the ferry, however when we got off the bus we walked in the wrong direction and it took us a little longer to find the ferry terminal but we did after checking out bags we caught another bus into the city center and went to Macca's for something to eat and then walked around a bit before catching the bus back to the terminal the ferry ride over was great we both enjoyed it the scenery was great.

After arriving in Picton we picked up our hire car and are now at the motel we are staying the Mercure hotel and it is nice but has limited internet hopefully I will be able to post this and check for emails from my girls and parents.

We Have Arrived

Hi all just letting you all know that we have arrived safe and sound in Wellington, the flight over was good we flew this time with Qantas and it was better then Air New Zealand as Qantas supplied as with breakfast I had scrambled eggs and bacon and Tim had corn flakes and both meals came with a bread roll and yogurt and orange juice and of course you could have tea or coffee. The bacon and eggs tasted pretty good.

The travel agent Rebecca was supposed to arrange transfers from the airport to the hotel but when I checked our documents I couldn’t find anything about it so Tim went up and asked one of the shuttle bus drives if he could bring us to the hotel and he said cost us $48 but we both reckon it would had cost a lot more if we had got taxi.

This motel is nice we both like it, Tim’s laptop is  annoying I am more use to mine....................lol

Biopsy Results and Out of Town

Ok first up the results of my biopsy were all clear nothing to worry about, just have to have my normal mammogram in 2 years time.

Now talk about being busy I have been flat out for the last couple of days, haven't had time to do much online and tonight  I am away from home were am I you wonder well I am at the Airport Sydney International Inn for the night and tomorrow we (Tim & me) fly out for New Zealand again this time we will be gone 8 days and we are going to the south island.

This motel/hotel is ok not great but not bad either after we arrived we went down to the restaurant for something to eat and the food was nice and affordable too.

I was hoping to get online this afternoon before we left but with one thing or another it didn't happen, I can tell you I am buggered tonight.

Oh yeah the other this was that yesterday when our travel documents arrived I noticed that they said we didn't fly out till 6.30pm tomorrow so I go onto the travel agent and checked it out turned out there was a printing error thankfully. We fly out tomorrow morning at 9.20am much better then flying out at night.

Well I will keep everyone updated with what we are doing and how things are going but may not be reading blogs much during the next week.

Biopsy Done Yesterday Results Tomorrow

Ok everyone I had my biopsy done on my breast yesterday afternoon and will get the results tomorrow afternoon.

The procedure its self-went fine, it wasn’t  painful or that uncomfortable although laying on my tummy for like 20-30 minutes was the hardest because when I lay on my tummy I get nauseas from the pressure. It was done with a local anaesthetic and of course I was facing away from the doctor and didn’t see anything being done and felt nothing.  Last night I was in pain through and ended up in bed around 7pm because my boob was so sore, today I am fine no pain or anything.

I am not worried about the results I am sure it will turn out to be nothing but I will let you know tomorrow after I get them.

It's Friday and this is what you get on Friday
