Hello everyone on this cold Thursday morning, hope you are warmer then me. Well this weeks word comes from yesterday's post.
Duffer: An incompetent or stupid person
Someone who steals and alters brand marks
Someone who is a poor golfer
I hear he's an "old duffer" said in such an affectionate way that I find it hard to believe it means he's old and stupid or incompetent. Hummm. Now I know it might be quite an insult. :(
Oh yeah that is what I thought when I looked up the definitions I thought it would say someone being silly not stupid
