Jewellery expensive or cheap which do you prefer

Well it is another bloody coldish day here in my part of the world, even though it is Tuesday mum and I went out to see nan we took Liarna with us, we went today as tomorrow I have Summer all day again and it is easier. So Kelli drove Leo to school for me so a big thank you to Kelli for that.

Now onto the topic of the day..............jewellery

Do you have any expensive jewellry?

I don't...........

I have a lot of jewellery but no expensive jewellery I don't like the thought of losing
something that cost a lot of money and I have lost a few pieces over the years but nothing expensive so I was able to just replace the piece I lost.

In fact I buy a lot of jewellery from cheap stores and from Avon, I also like my jewellery to match so I have a number of matching sets of earrings and necklaces and I wear a brooch most of the time and a cross pin as well, which was a gift from a penpal.

Everyone in the family know I am a jewellery wearer and I often get jewellery as a gift.

  1. If I could afford expensive jewellery I would prefer it. I don't for the same reason as you. In fact I'm not a big fan of jewellery but I wear a gold necklace all the time that used to be my grandfather's fob watch chain.

  2. the price of a piece of jewellery isn't the main thing for me. if i like a piece i'll buy it, although, these days i don't buy much jewellery . i have so much i'm going through it and giving it to the granddaughters. better they should have it now. i don't wear much except my rings and bangles.

  3. I have only a few pieces of nice jewelry. I'm like you - I prefer to wear fun stuff. Then when I'm tired of it, I can sell it at a tag sale or give it away and buy something new.

  4. X gave me some very nice pieces of jewelry. I always tell people that jewelry was the only thing he was good for. I enjoy them, but I'm always concerned I'll lose them or they'll be stolen. I guess I feel a little more comfortable with less expensive items. I love unique handmade items from etsy shops or craft fairs.

    Love,
    Janie

  5. I used to love wearing jewelry, especially rings. I cannot wear them much any more due to the arthritis in my hands. I've never owned expensive jewelry, but loved every piece of jewelry I had, which was mostly given to me on birthdays and Christmas.

    1. My nan has arthritis in her hands and so does my mum and at times I wonder if I will be unlucky and to have it too. When I a woman loves jewellery you are never left thinking what to give them

  7. I used to but I sold most of it for the price of the gold. I have a lot of costume jewelry that I love. I used to sell Premier Jewelry at one time so I acquired a lot during that time.
