Can we say HOT yes it's Bloody Hot Here

Well today has been another hot day, stinking bloody hot at that some parts of the country are in the grip of a heatwave with temperatures in the high 40’s. Mum said in her text message today that were they are it was 48c and the first thing they did was set the air con up and got it running they have a split system in the motorhome.

We have had the air con going here all day I turned it on when I got up and Tim left it on when he went to work so I could come home to a cool house. Thankfully Tim is in an air conditioned bus so he is not working in the heat either.

Tomorrow is my niece Temika’s 3rd birthday and on Tuesday it will be Leo’s 5th birthday, Sandra is having a small party for her at their place tomorrow I do not know if I will get over there as Tim is going fishing tomorrow with a few mates so he will have the car. I will see what happens tomorrow.

Yesterday I had a terrible headache, and although I have been fine during the day in the last half hour it has come back and I am not feeling great.

  1. Hope you feel better! That is way to hot for me. I rather have my cold winters and mild summers.

  2. We are finally into cooler weather, so I can certainly empathize about the heat. It's probably not helping your headache, either. Feel better soon!

    1. 48 Celsius is 118 Fahrenheit.......so 35F would be only 1c which is bloody cold........lol

  5. Sorry you're not feeling too good, Jo=Anne. Do hope it passes soon. My goodness, those temperatures must be really unbearable when you're away from the air-conditioning. We've certainly never had temps like that over here!!! Try to keep cool.

    1. As long as you are running the heater on a cold day and not on a stinking hot day because that would be weird.
