A bad start to the day

Hello everyone, what a start to the day, driving Leo to school this morning I misjudge distance and hit something and did this damage to the car. Leo was worried that papa (Tim) would go mad at me and kept telling me it was just an accident and the car can be fixed and not to get upset about it. I took photos and sent them to Tim, who said he is worried about my driving as in 18 months I have had three incidents of misjudgement and yes at times I am also concerned but overall there is not much wrong with my driving.

Tim is now home and checking out the car and the dashcam to see what happened but at least he isn't angry and has taken the rest of the day off work, I am still upset.

  1. Hi, Jo-Anne!

I'm sorry to learn of your auto mishap, dear friend. Thank goodness no one was hurt. I'm glad Tim kept his cool. I suppose you can't blame him for worrying about you a little. Take care, dear friend Jo-Anne!

  2. You just won the Closest to the Wall award. My buddy Lash won that trophy last month, and it looks a lot like yours. Must be a popular design.

As for the rest of it, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. You may just be a poor driver. My Aunt is a bad driver and is forever smacking into something, or getting the car stuck in the snow, or whatever. She's even worse than my brother, Shotgun Bob, who almost killed us a few times.

Just have a drink and forget about it. Tell the old man not to take life so seriously, and maybe he'll get lucky later on.

  4. See, now we have a new ding on the passenger side, and that's why I asked if you were in the neighborhood. But that would require a little ocean going. We had a guy where we worked years ago that insisted you could drive to Europe. Of course, this same guy one day had an upset stomach and another guy talked him into going to the office and asking to get a pap smear.

    1. Driving to Europe now that is funny but a guy getting a pap smear is funnier

  6. That's not such a lot of damage. I've knocked mirrors off my car a few times and my son (who is an excellent driver) even knocked one off once.

    Love,
    Janie

  8. Sometimes accident happens. Most important is no one is hurt. The car can be repaired and good to know that Tim is not angry. Peace be with you all!

  9. So easily done Jo-Anne to misjudge something.
It would be upsetting but would be worse if Tim was cross with you and showed it..
