Motivation Thursday...................Do what's right


How hard is it to do what's right?
How hard is it to know what's right?

For far too many these things are not known or too hard to find and near impossible to do, however, if more people took the time to think about what's the right thing to do and followed through doing what's right then they may find they are happier people.


I try myself to do what's right, yes there are times when I fail but at least I try.

  1. Very good point, Jo-Anne and something we all need to be aware of. I always admire your honesty, acknowledging that you try, but also admitting it's not always easy, and sometimes we fail despite our best intentions. Being able to admit our failings is as important. Too many refuse to be held accountable for what they do, or don't do.

    1. Yes it really annoys me that so many people do not want to be accountable for their behaviour, and it isn't just the young it is many different ages.

  2. Hello again, dear Jo-Anne! I remember the influential words of our great president John F. Kennedy: "We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard." Sometimes people don't do what's right because it's hard. It's easier to do the wrong thing. Happiness comes to those who do what's right even though it's hard.

    1. OH yeah you are so right many people don't want to do hard stuff and take the easy way out but if one does what is right often the more they will find doing it is easy

  3. Yes--thinking things through and trying to make the right choice or the best choice makes life a lot easier. So true. :)
