So it was a boys world until my 2 granddaughters were born. It is such a joy to dress them up and play dolls and tea but there's also the fun of climbing trees and jumping in puddles too. She got 2 girls and stopped - I had a boy, then girl, then boy and stopped. Love them all the same - healthy was the most important.

Ron and his 1st wife had two boys and a girl as well. Now, we've got (from his kids) 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. From our kids we have 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and one more granddaughter on the way. There's also a new bun in the oven but too soon to know if it's a boy or girl. The girls are outnumbered so we're pulling for another girl.Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09028107053575111027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2372897564928472255.post-422854157220764842011-08-20T23:32:14.235+10:002011-08-20T23:32:14.235+10:00I am delighted to have my two daughters, who are a...I am delighted to have my two daughters, who are always so loving and caring and always think of the little things. Having lots of friends with only boys, this doesn't seem to be the case, although, of course, they are loved just as much. I am now very blessed indeed to have two granddaughters, and a grandson, who is 3, and he is absolutely delightful and loving! So I've got the best of both worlds I think.Southhamsdarlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12285980805569582676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2372897564928472255.post-63534856007186749352011-08-20T21:05:41.737+10:002011-08-20T21:05:41.737+10:00I don't have any children but I've no idea...I don't have any children but I've no idea... girls have a much nicer option of clothes, toys etc... and brighter colours and boys are just boys...Bubbleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11969241757724716562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2372897564928472255.post-61314872845594627482011-08-20T19:43:01.979+10:002011-08-20T19:43:01.979+10:00Wouldnt have minded a girl but I love my boys to b...Wouldnt have minded a girl but I love my boys to bits and wouldnt swap them for the worldnot displayedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11637174135437423585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2372897564928472255.post-4525496699075640402011-08-20T19:00:23.050+10:002011-08-20T19:00:23.050+10:00I always wanted whatever I was having...but I have...I always wanted whatever I was having...but I have to say this: Boys are easier to raise. Yes, they are little hellions when they are in the grade school years, but teenage boys are a gazillion times easier than moody little teenage girls.

Just sayin'.
