Sinceyesterday was Natasha's birthday and I did a birthday post for her Istill have Natasha on my mind so I will share with you a littlesomething else about my darling daughter................

Thishapppened when she was in primary school I can't remember what yearshe was in at the moment but I do remember her doingthis........................

OkI get a letter sent home from the school one day telling me that wehad to pay $300 to have a toilet replaced, because it had been brokedmy my daughter Natasha. I was like what the hell when did thishappen, how come no one had told me that she had broken a toliet so Igo to the school early in the afternoon to speak to the principalabout it. He tells me that a week or so earlier she was playing inthe toilets and fell/jumped from the top of a stall and broke atoilet and that we had to pay to have it fixed. I said NO we wouldnot be paying for it, he tells me that she has been playing in thetoilets for a while now and had been told not to do so on a number ofoccassions and now something has been broken and we have topay....................

Istill said NO if she had been getting into trouble for playing in thetoilets and it was a problem then I should had been told about itages ago before something was broken, I felt that I was unable toaddress the problem as I had not been told about it.

Whenasked if she was the only child to be playing in the toilet at thetime I am told that she has been hanging out with Samantha E****S andwhen I asked if Samanthas parents had recieved a bill he had spokento her mother. However as it turned out they had not issue a bill toSamantha's mother, Samantha is my niece so it was easy for me to findout. Natasha was consided the ring leader and the one who had to beheld resposable

Theprincipal gave me the bill and said we had to pay for it and Iremember grapping it and saying we will see............. I came homeand contacted the Education Dept and also rang my sister who knewnothing about the problem. That afternoon I get a phone call from theschool telling me that we no longer had to pay the bill.

TheEducation Dept said we should had been contacted earlier if there wasa problem

This week there is no “AboutJo-Anne Tuesday” why isthat you wonder well I will tell you it's because today is the 25^thbirthday of my darling daughter Natasha..........

Yesmy baby girl is a ¼ of a century old today.......................

Thistime 25yrs ago I was chilling at home looking after my preciousdaughter Kathy-Lee wondering if Natasha would ever be born she was 14days over due and I was so over being pregnant. Then at around 7pm mywater broke, we rang my mum and told her we would be droppingKathy-Lee off and heading for the hospital which was like a 20 minutedrive. I was having contractions but they were not that bad at thetime but thankfully the labour didn't drag on she was born at 11pmthat night, weighing 7lb 13oz she was the biggest of all my babiesbut is the shortest of all my daughters............lol

Natashawas my wild child the rebel in the family she was the daughter whocaused me to have sleepless nights worrying about her but she hasgrown into such an amazing woman and is a wonderful mother and I amvery proud of the women she has grown into. Yes I still worry abouther she is struggling to cope money wise and suffers from stress andin my opinion depression but she will not talk to anyone about herdepression and stress and I can't make her all I can do is be herefor her.........................

Remember Natasha that both mummy and daddy love you more then words can express............

Monday Means Tim's Day

Monday has rolled around so that meansI will share with you another tid bit about hubby and this week Idecided I will tell you about his self esteem it's LOW in fact it isoften very low and this upsets me. He often thinks no one likes himor that people think he is stupid and I do not know how to make himthink better of himself I hate it when I see or hear him puttinghimself down and I will often tell him that I do not like it anddon't want him to do it.....................to which he will say butit's true I am stupid and I say stupidthings...................grrrrrrrrrr

Yes he does say silly things at timesbut hey who doesn't I know I have said some silly things in my lifebut that doesn't make me stupid it makes me normal. So I wish I couldget Tim to understand that.

I think the problem goes back to hischildhood when his father would call him stupid on a daily basis andoften smack him around the head because he said something that hethought was stupid...........but children do say some silly things nochild should be made to feel that what they say is stupid orwrong....................we have always listened to our children andhave never ever called anyone of them stupid.

Sometimes hubby has good ideas even ifat the time the he has said idea I am not all that keen on it.

One such idea was to have our clothesdryer outside............yes it is outside under cover but stilloutside and now I do like that it is outside................

Why you ask do I like having to gooutside to place my clothes in the dryer, well I will tell you it'sbecause on days like yesterday when I get up and it is raining and Ido the washing sometimes by the time I have to go and place theclothes in the dryer it has stopped raining but it is still overcast.If the dryer was in the laundry I would just take the clothes andshove them in the dryer but by having to go outside to use the dryerI will go out and change my mind and peg the clothes on the lineanyway..................I do prefer to peg my clothes on the line todry.

Another good idea he had was many yearsago he bought a fax machine this was back before email was so commonand when he did I thought when will we use a fax machine but as itturned out we used it a lot a real lot........................

Dancing

Doyou dance in public? Why or why not?

WhenI say in public I am not just talking about doing a little dancewhile out shopping and yes I have done that in the past and I willmore then likely do it again in the future.......lol

Iam also talking about dancing at functions like weddings I love todance and I know I am not a great dancer but I do enjoy it and wishat times that I was married to a man who would dance withme.............but no he doesn't dance not even at weddings unless heis pretty drunk then he will dance with me or anyone aroundhim.......lol

Iremember years ago though he would do a little dance while we whereout shopping with my sister Sandra music would be playing and hewould grap her an swing her around in a little dance the moment wouldpass pretty quick though.......yes Tim was a fun guy now days hewouldn't dream of doing something like that.

Mostof the time I dance at home alone even at home Tim will not dancewith me he just says I don't dance.

Ithink dancing is a wonderful way to release stress and have fun whichis why I love to dance and I think if you can allow yourself to do alittle dance while out in public then you will be a more relaxed andhappier person............

I pridemyself on being non-judgemental, I think too many people are too quick to judgeothers and if people could accept that everyone is different and we do not allhave to agree with each other then there would be less fighting in the world.

Now justbecause I do not judge others doesn’t mean I agree with everything someone saysto me or how different people in my life act or live their lives but it istheir life and everyone is allowed to live their own life however they see fit.

Tim has abad habit of expecting our daughters to see things our way but they are adultsand don’t and he will go on about how they should be doing certain things andnot doing other things. He things Natasha should kick Adrian to the curb becausehe has no income and is living off her and she has no money is in drowning indebt but when I try and tell him that he is allowed his own opinion but can’ttell a 25yr old woman what to do he gets annoyed with me and thinks I amagainst him.

He seemsto think that they should do things his way because his way it the right wayand will judge those who do things different or have a different way of life.

I believethere is only one true judge and that is our Lord, yes there are other judgesthose whose job it is to pass judgement on people who break the law but I amnot one of those people so I do not judge…………

Ok Monday has rolled around again so Iwill tell you a little more about Tim, as I have mentioned in pastblogs he is not close to his family. He has always felt that hedidn't fit in that he was the odd one out he has always told me thathe was the one blamed for anything that went wrong in the family andwhen ever one of the kids did something wrong his father would belthim no matter which child it was that did the wrong thing.

Tim is the second eldest of 5 childrenhe has 3 brothers and 1 sister but also has 2 half sisters and 1 halfbrother. His parents divorced when he was in his teens and his fathertook up with another woman who he was with for a number of years andthen they split and he went on to marry some other woman............

Tim has always said he would not wantto be the type of father his father was and he isn't but there aretimes when he thinks he is acting like his father and that upsets himand he hates and I mean really hates the fact that he looks like hisfather at times............

You may hgave noticed that I am usingthe term father not dad that is because Tim has always said he wasn'tmuch of a dad and that anyone can be a father but not all fathers aredads, if you can understand that............lol

Anyway Tim is not his father he is abetter man who loves his children and who has always tried to bethere for them............

Best Childhood Memory

Ok I have shared with everyone my worst moment as a child so now I tell youa bit about my best moment as a child well ok it is more like my best momentsas there are more than one moment.

One of the earliest memories I have as a child is going for a drive with mydad on Blacksmiths beach and we got bogged I don’t remember how we got the carout I just remember being with dad and getting stuck in the sand………….and ofcourse that was back before mobile phones……………lol

Another great memory I have is of Christmas Days spent at my grandparents’house we would go to their house around 10am Christmas morning and stay untilaround 2pm nan would make a great baked lunch with all the trimmings I reallymiss those lunches…………

These are just two memories I have there are many as I had an awesomechildhood………………

When you look back on your childhood is there any particular moment thatyou think of as the worst moment of your childhood………………………………….

When I look back on mine I am pretty lucky in that I can’t remember any badmoments unless you count my school years……………….lol I have some really goodmoments which I will talk about in later posts.

I did not enjoy school at all it was a place I had to go and for the mostpart I would often just lose myself in a book during recess or lunch time, yes Ihad some friends who I would hang around with if I had a choice I would ratherbe in the library.

Yes I was teased and picked on a lot at school and did not think of myselfas being pretty and often would think I was dumb even though I was near the topof the class but then I was in the second glass from the bottom, we had gradesthat went A, B, C & D and I was in a C glass with some really thick kids…………………..lol

I have always been a loner preferring to spend my time alone although whenI was at school I did a have a few girls I hung around only one of which I wouldcall a friend. I never had a boyfriend while I was at school and to be honest Iwas not interested in boys when I was at school.

After leaving school I still had no interest in boys but of course thatdid change over time and when I was in my early 20’s I decided to sign up to adating agency and went on one date with some guy who I really didn’t click withbut the next day I had a phone call from a guy named Tim and we around to goout the following night which was a Thursday night and I knew right away thatthis was the guy for me.

We went to pizza hut and neither of us could eat much we both were so nervous,the date was the 6^th June 1983 and 3 months later he asked me tomarry him and of course I said yes we had an engagement party in November andmarried the following September.

Tim decided to try a dating agency because like me he is also very shyand a loner.

Monday is Tim's Day

I have decided that for the next few weeks at least Mondayswill be Tim’s day the day of the week that I share with you some things aboutmy husband I decided this while driving to Jessica’s place this morning in factI composed the entire post in my head on the drive there………….I will kick thisoff with asking this question is there and opposite of “rose coloured classes”

I think everyone has heard the saying seeing things throughrose coloured classes but is there an opposite of that. Why you ask well I will tell when I met Timhe was a canvas machinist he made caravan annexes, tents, truck tarps stufflike that and he was really good at it and loved the job because he was so goodat it he took a lot of pride in his work.

However if you were to asked him now days about that job he will tell you that he didn’tlike the job and that he was miserable there and never got on with anyone……………………..nowthis is true but only for the last couple of years he worked there. The first 10years were great the last few years not so much.

He also blames me for him staying there so long as he said Iwouldn’t let him quit but that isn’t right either yes I was nervous about himleaving the job but only because I didn’t know what would happen after he did. Nowhe did end up leaving after 15 years I remember is that he came home oneevening and was not in a very good mood and I told him to quit to that we wouldmanage somehow but no he didn’t. He did, however, take some long service leaveand while on long service leave he got a job driving hire cars which for thosewho don’t know that is like driving a taxi except it is an a nice unmarked carand they do not pick up people on the side of the road I will talk more aboutthat in later posts…………….

A Cheats Baked Lunch.................

Today my mum did a cheats baked lunchnow what is a cheats baked lunch you ask well it's when you usefrozen roast veggies istead of fresh the ones we used were these onesthey are alright but not the same as homemade baked veggies. Thepotato swirls were really nice and we did those because Sue doesn'tlike the roast veggies, for meat we had a roast lamb.

We set the table up in the carport andate there there was only 10 adults and the 3 babies there so not tomany, Sue and I cleanned up before we left so mum wouldn't have to doit afterwards.

While we were there mum opened a bottleof wine it was called “Love” it was a fruity dessert wine and Iloved it which is a big thing as I do not drink wine but I ended updrinking half a bottle and since being home I have followed it with 2voka cruisers pineapple flavoured so I am a bit tipsy at the momentbut that's ok as I do not drink very often and will not have anymoreto drink tonight I know when to stop, how I am feeling at the momentis good very relaxed. I will have to have a look at the bottle shopfor the wine.

Rainy Saturday and Jess's Car Problems.........

Yesterday was one busy day I wanted toread some blogs when I got home yesterday afternoon but my internetwas playing up and I couldn't get online so didn'thappen...............oh well it was the first time it stuffed up inages and I am back today.............

So after posting this I am going toread some blogs leave some comments as I know you all love mycomments because I am just sooooooooooooo what I don't know but I amsomething and I am loved or at leasted liked by many................

So as I sit here and write this andlook to my left what do I see well outside it is raining again and ontelly is Scooby Doo now if you are wondering why I am watching ScoobyDoo well it's because Leo is here and he loves Scooby Doo.........

No I just have to find someone to driveJessica and Leo back to her place around 1pm this afternoon but firstshe needs someeone to take her to pick up Blain and then drive all ofthem back to hers why because he car is off the road and Tim took ourcar to work...........

Why is her car of the road well it'sbecause on Wednesday when Tim tried to change the spark plugs andleads he found on plug had been cross threaded and one lead wasfalling apart so now the car has to go to the mechinic on Thursdayand she doesn't want to drive it while it is like it is. It isbackfireing and stalling and shudders and to be honest I do not likethe idea of her driving it either. I had told her I would drive herhome but that was before Tim took the car to work. He keeps saying itis fine to drive Jess's car and if that is the case then he shouldhad taken her car to work........

What do I have planned for the day,reading blogs leaving comments and doing some washing and when Jesand Leo have gone home I will catch up on some of my recordedprogrames...................

224yrs old and 51yrs old Happy Birthday

Happy Australia Dayeveryone........................in this house it isn't justAustralia's birthday it is my darling husband Tim's birthday andtoday he turned 51..................

So to celebrate we have had the girlsand grandkids over for lunch along with Kathy's man Michael and mysister Sandra and niece Temika and of course my mum anddad..............

Lunch consisted of snags, bacon,rissoles and my brother honey soy chicken and a pasta bake and apotato bake with a chocolate birthday cake. The rissoles tasted awfuland even the dog didn't eat them but everything else was yummy andmost of the food was eaten.

I was up at 6.30am baking the cake andthen doing the pasta and potato bakes and cleaning the house again, Ihave swept the lounge room floor about 7 times today 6 times beforeanyone arrived and yes I know it was just family but I wanted thehouse to look good.

It was loud and a bit chaotic but itwas good although after about an hour Kathy and Tasha had to leavethe noise was getting to them and I have to be honest I was also gladwhen everyone had left and the house was kind of quite again, I saykind of as we have Leo here again tonight and he is a hand full atthe best of times......................lol

I wonder if anyone would be surprise to read this about me that:

I have never had any ambition I just drift throughlife.

We it’s true when I left high school I was asked a lot what do you wantto do now and I never had an answer but in the end I went to Tafe to do asecretarially course but only because my friend Cathy wanted to do it and wewent together to the Tafe and both applied for the course and I got into it andshe didn’t. Which I think annoyed her at the time as I really didn’t care oneway or the other if I got into the course.

After finishing the course it was like what now back in those days itwas Centrelink who helped people findjobs so I registered with them and got sent to some job interviews I did get ajob for 17 weeks which was supposed to give me experience which would make it easier to get a job.

So I did that and then thought ok I really do not want a job I just wantto get married and have children…………which I ended up doing………………..

So who would I like to haunt well I have given it a bit of thought,said there are many people who have pissed me off over the years but not enoughfor me to come back and haunt……………………..lol

I would like to hang around and watch over my family, as Ibelieve my pop does but that isn’t haunting someone, haunting them is trying toscare them in my opinion………………

What I am about to share with you I got from Craziness Abounds over at Crazy World. I read this and my heart broke. I couldn't believe that in a country that claims so many freedoms, our system would deny a child a better way of life. I can't comprehend in a such a politically correct society that we would treat any individual, especially a child to this kind of behavior. I am horrified. The post is entitled Brick Walls

I am going to try and tell you what happened to us on January 10, 2012, in the conference room in the Nephrology department at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

We arrived for our regular Nephrology visit with Amelia’s doctor who has seen her for the last three years. She examines Amelia and sends us for labs. I ask about the transplant and she says we have about six months to a year until she needs one. She tells us she reserved the conference room and when we get back from labs, we can meet with the transplant team and he can tell us about the transplant process.

After the labs, Amelia falls asleep in her stroller and we are called back to a large room with a screen and about sixteen chairs. Joe and I get comfortable and leave a space between us to fit the stroller. After about five minutes, a doctor and a social worker enter the room. They sit across from us but also leave a space between the two of them.

The doctor begins to talk and I listen intently on what he is saying. He has a Peruvian accent and is small, with brown hair, a mustache and is about sixty five years old. He gets about four sentences out ( I think it is an introduction) and places two sheets of paper on the table. I can’t take my eyes off the paper. I am afraid to look over at Joe because I suddenly know where the conversation is headed. In the middle of both papers, he highlighted in pink two phrases. Paper number one has the words, “Mentally Retarded” in cotton candy pink right under Hepatitis C. Paper number two has the phrase, “Brain Damage” in the same pink right under HIV. I remind myself to focus and look back at the doctor. I am still smiling.

He says about three more sentences when something sparks in my brain. First it is hazy, foggy, like I am swimming under water. I actually shake my head a little to clear it. And then my brain focuses on what he just said.

I put my hand up. “Stop talking for a minute. Did you just say that Amelia shouldn’t have the transplant done because she is mentally retarded. I am confused. Did you really just say that?”
The tears. Oh, the damn tears. Where did they come from? Niagara Falls. All at once. There was no warning. I couldn’t stop them. There were no tissues in conference room so I use my sleeve and my hands and I keep wiping telling myself to stop it.

I point to the paper and he lets me rant a minute. I can’t stop pointing to the paper. “This phrase. This word. This is why she can’t have the transplant done.”
“Yes.”
I begin to shake. My whole body trembles and he begins to tell me how she will never be able to get on the waiting list because she is mentally retarded.

A bit of hope. I sit up and get excited.
“Oh, that’s ok! We plan on donating. If we aren’t a match, we come from a large family and someone will donate. We don’t want to be on the list. We will find our own donor.”
“Noooo. She—is—not—eligible –because—of—her—quality– of –life—Because—of—her—mental—delays” He says each word very slowly as if I am hard of hearing.
“STOP IT NOW!” The anger is taking over. Thank God. Why did it take so long to get here?
The social worker is writing some things down. Not sure what. She casually gets up to take a call. My eyes follow her to the phone and I see Joe’s face. His mouth is open, his face is pale and he is staring straight ahead of him at the white board.
Rage fills the room. I point in his little, brown pudgy face. “Do not talk about her quality of life. You have no idea what she is like. We have crossed many, many road blocks with Amelia and this is just one more. So, you don’t agree she should have it done? Fine. But tell me who I talk to next because SHE WILL HAVE IT DONE AND IT WILL BE AT CHOP.”
I see the social worker quickly writing down what I just said. Joe hasn’t moved. Amelia is still asleep.

The social worker decides to join the conversation. “Well, you know a transplant is not forever. She will need another one in twelve years. And then what? And do you have any idea of the medications she will need to take to keep her healthy?”
I speak through gritted together. “YES, I HAVE DONE ALL MY RESEARCH.”
She smirks a little. “Well, what happens when she is thirty and neither of you are around to take care of her. What happens to her then? Who will make sure she takes her medications then?”
In a voice that mimics hers, I snort, “Well, what happens if you die tomorrow? Who will take care of your children? Your responsibilities at work?” She breathes in and her eyes widens. “Right!” I throw at her. “Neither of us can predict the future and we shouldn’t try. But if Amelia does not have this transplant she has no future!”
The doctor interrupts. He puts his hands up and tries to take a stern voice with me. “These medications she has to take after the transplant, they are very dangerous. They can cause seizures. We have to get the dose exact. They may cause brain damage.”
“DO OTHER CHIILDREN WHO HAVE A TRANSPLANT TAKE THIS MEDICATION?”
“Yes, but it is different for her. She is already brain damaged and mentally retarded.”
He pauses as if he is choosing his words carefully. “I have been warned about you. About how involved you and your famliy are with Amelia.”
The devil himself could not have produced a more evil laugh. “Ha! Warned! That is funny! You have no idea…”
I am beginning to realize I want this over with so I can move onto the next person who will help me with the transplant. So I say the words and ask the questions I have been avoiding.
“So you mean to tell me that as a doctor, you are not recommending the transplant, and when her kidneys fail in six months to a year, you want me to let her die because she is mentally retarded? There is no other medical reason for her not to have this transplant other than she is MENTALLY RETARDED!”
“Yes. This is hard for me, you know.”
My eyes burn through his soul as if I could set him on fire right there. “Ok, so now what? This is not acceptable to me. Who do I talk to next?”
“I will take this back to the team. We meet once a month. I will tell them I do not recommend Amelia for a transplant because she is mentally retarded and we will vote.”
“And then who do I see?”
“Well, you can then take it the ethics committee but as a team we have the final say. Feel free to go somewhere else. But it won’t be done here.”
They both get up and leave the room.
I look at Joe who is sobbing trying to get the stroller and Amelia’s backpack. I break down with him before we head to the parking garage.

I hope you are disturbed, troubled, distressed, and pissed off when you read this. I hope you share it with many, many people. Although I did not know this yesterday, this is very common and happens across the map. I have researched and researched and researched transplants and the MR, as they are called in the medical journals, and it is appalling. We are in the year 2012 and my child still does not have the right to live, the right to a transplant, because she is developmentally delayed.

If this bothered you as much as it bothered me, if you can imagine the pain this family is going through, help me spread this around.

After having almost lost my daughter last weekend this breaks my heart. I can't imagine someone looking you in the face and saying Let your child die, because she is not like others! which is exactly what this putz just told this family to do. God help us.

What is your biggest regret?

I have only one regret in life and it may seemlike a silly one but so be it…………………………….

My one and only regret is that I have never livedby myself I went from living with my parents to living with my husband and if Ido change one thing I did before I got married I would have lived on my own.

Although if I could change anything I would beworried that by doing so would change the life I have now and I happen to lovethe life I have now……………………but still I do think I would have liked living on myown…………..lol

I think people believe I amgullible because I appear to believe everything I am told just because I am notrude enough to say I think you are lying to me doesn’t mean I believeeverything.

When Natasha was with Lucas everyone seemed to think Ibelived everything he told me when in fact most of the time while he wastalking I would be thinking “yeah like really”but since he was who she chose tobe with at that time I was always nice to him and never let on what I reallythought about him.

There are people around who are “know it alls” we have allmost likely meet someone who fits the bill and how often do we say to saidperson that we think they are full of it, it is just not something I do. I am apolite person and being rude to people is not something I do if that is a badthing then so be it..................

Sydney-May and My Pop

Last Monday while visiting nanna at the nursing home Sydney climbed upbehind me and started hitting my back, when I asked her who said she could hitme she pointed to her left and said "he did" when asked who he wasboth her and nanna said "pop".....

This is the second time that she has told us that she istalking to pop who passed away on the 4^th November 2010. We havetaken all three of the babies to visit nan at some point but it is onlySydney-May who seems to see and hear pop.

Just Rambling A Bit

Well so far this year I am feeling pretty happy with my life do I have everything I want for the most part I would have to say I do and I am not talking about material possessions as those things are not the important things in life. What I do have is a loving family who take me for granted and get upset and pissed off when I can not drop everything to be with them or do something for them.
I have a loving daughter who often makes me feel like a bank there are times when I feel that I hear from her the most when she wants money from me, I know that this isn't the case but it is how I often feel.

On how I feel well I feel like I want to jump on a train and just go somewhere anywhere away from people who expect things from me, somewhere I can really relax and not feel that the phone may ring at any given time from someone wanting something from me. Now don't get me wrong I do love being able to help my daughters and love being there for them but there is a part of me that feels run down and worn out. I would love to be able to go somewhere for a couple of days where I can just sit and read and yes Jessica I know I can read at home but the point is that I ofren do not as I always find something else to do instead of just read. I love reading as much as I love watching telly or blogging and pen paling yes I have a few hobbies and you know maybe that is why I never ever get bored I do not remember the last time I was bored..............

Hubby has said many times that he would like us to go on a holiday be when it comes right down to it he either doesn't want to take the time off work or doesn't want to spend the money on a holiday. My parents are going to Port Macquarie in Feburary for a few days I wish I could go with them and stay in a cabin on my own and be able to spend the days with my family and the nights alone but alas that isn't going to happen..........

So all in all the year has started off great and in general I am one happy woman..............

On of my favourite shows at the moment is Wife Swap on theLifestyle You channel and next week Wife Swap Austalia starts I am reallylooking forward to that. Now would I want to do something like a wife swap nobloody way.......................lol

I think I am a pretty well adjusted well rounded woman and Iam not talking about my body shape............lol So I do not think I would bea good canadate for such a show.......................the Lifestyle You channelhas become one of my favourtie channels it is only in the last few months thatI have started watching it. Sometimes I feel like there are so many goodchannels to choose from, thankgoodness I can record some of the shows and watchthem at a later date.....................

Last night I laid in bed and thought ofa great topic to write about today and of course when I got up thetopic was left behind in my bedsomewhere...........bugga................

So what should I entertain you all withtoday..............let me think ok enough thinking it is giving me aheadache and that is never good even more so when I have a grandchildhere wanting my attention.............Little Leo is home from daycare as he has been unwell and they suggested that we keep him hometoday and yes when we got up he didn't look or sound to good but ofcourse now he is acting and sounding more like himself..........

Whatdid you want to be when you were a child?

When I was a child when people wouldsay to me what do you want to be when you grow up I would just lookat them and shrug, I had no idea I just didn't think that far ahead.I remember when I was in my teens my nan asked me what type ofboyfriend I wanted and again I shrugged I had no idea, well I didhave an idea but thought it would sound silly so saidnothing............I wanted someone like my dad who I thought wasjust the most perfect man ever............

At some point I decided that I wantedto be a wife and mother, I never had and desire to work outside thehome at any type of job. I did do a secretarial course when I leftschool but only because my best friend Cathy wanted to do on and asit turned out I got into the course and she didn't.......

After I left Tafe I did look for a jobbut without any luck and then I met Tim and got married and hadchildren and I can honestly say I have been happy with how my lifehas turned out.........

I have never thought of myselfas being either beautiful or pretty at best I am average looking.

I think there very few trulybeautiful people in the would in fact most of the so called beautiful peopleare really just average looking in my eyes, I also think true beauty comes fromthe inside out meaning if you are not akind hearted person you can not be really beauitful. There are a lot of peoplearound who have only skin deep beauty and when these people age there beautyfads terrible because their beauty doesn't come from the inside out if you canunderstand what I mean.............

I had them compined into a family photo for herand then had it done on a canvas setting along with some of her wedding photosthis is the end result and yeah it's not the best photos of it but it was thebest I could do................

If genie could grant you3 wishes for 2012, what would they be?

I saw this onsomeone’s blog and thought it would make a good topic for a blog now I don’tknow about others but I have often laid in bed at night and thought what wouldI wish for if I was offered 3 wishes. Now this may come as a surprise to somebut for those who know me I wouldn’t wish for material things. So what would Iwish for, well my three wishes would be as follows.

Tosee all my daughters married to a man who would love them and support them financially, emotionally and if needed physically and someone they can have asmany children as they want with.

2. Tosee my sister Sandra have as many children as her and hubby would like to have.

3. Forhubby to take better care of his health by quitting smoking and drinking and tonot be such a tight ass with money on a day to day basis.

Guess what I saw in the shops onSaturday.................Easter Eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you read that right EasterEggs................wtf..................the year wasn't even over and they areselling Easter Eggs it is things like this that really piss me off it is just amoney grapping thing and no reason for it, like how many Easter Eggs do peopleneed to buy and to be honest most of the Easter Eggs are bought in the last fewweeks before the event. Well I know that now days that is when I buy mine yeswhen my girls where younger I would start buying some like 6 weeks before theevent but back then you didn't see them in the stores 3 months before hand.

2011 Round Up

Today is the last day of 2011 and likemost people I have thought about what a year it has been, for themost part it has been a pretty good year yes there has been some badbits but I have put those bits behind me and I am only looking to thefuture.

In 2011 “My Blain” started schooland he is such a big boy now, his first year of school went mostlywell although in the last term of the year he did get into trouble atschool a bit he had detention half a dozen times and even made ateacher cry one day by just not listening to her and throwing thingsaround the room. I think his problem was that his mum had startedworking and was working everyday and not being there when he go homefrom school, his Aunty Kathy was picking him up from school mostafternoons and she was taking him to school a couple of times a weekalso.....then there was the times when Natasha lost track of time andwasn't there to pick him up from school and it wasn't till the schoolrang her wanting to know why no one was there to get Blain and ofcourse this would upset him very much.......................I thinkit made him feel as if his mum didn't love him as he is only justturned 6yrs old on the 12-12-11.

As everyone knows Little Leo has hadsome problems with throwing things and hitting staff at his day care,I am hoping that 2012 is a better year for him and that he alsostarts using the toilet in 2012, as it is very frustrating him stillbeing in pull ups at nearly 4 yrs of age he will be 4 on the 8-1-12

Also in 2012 my beautiful granddaughterSydney-May will start day care she will be attending the same daycare that Leo goes to, she will only be going one day a week whileher mum is at work. Sydney-May will be 2 on the 22-1-12.

My nephew Dawson will be starting highschool in 2012 but he will only be going to the high school 2 days aweek the other 3 days a week he will still attend “Wakefield”school which is the behavioural school he goes to. In 2011 he didreally well at Wakefield and received an award for being the mostimproved student of the year. I hope 2012 is another good year forhim and he continues to improve at school.

Now some of you may be wondering how Iwill see the new year in, well I think I will be alseep by the time2012 arrives. I do have Leo for the afternoon and night and I toldhis mum that I was not happy with the fact that she expected me tohave him from midday. I agreed to have him for the night but I wasexpecting her to drop him off sometime late this afternoon but no shewas here when I got home at midday and wanted to leave asap and ofcourse she did but I did make her know that I wasn't happy.

Anyway I hope all my online friendshave a great day/night and an even better2012........................

Yourneeds are as important as everyone else and relaxing really will recharge yourbatteries and you really will feel better.

Guess who is coming for the night..................yes it's Little Leo now who amongest you are surprised I bet no one is because it's Wednesday and that means Leo spending the night. His mum said she would be dropping him off around lunch time and will pick him up sometime tomorrow afternoon because she needs a break from him. He will also be here New Years Eve which is Saturday night lucky me.............

Tim is working this afternoon and tonight so it will be just me and Leo for most of the night I do hope he goes to bed at a reasonable time.

Kathy still has problems with her roof leaking she says everytime she has a shower she worries that the floor will collapse and she will end up in the laundry...............she has rang and complained again about it but at this stage they cannot tell her how long it will take to get it fixed...............

Since I don't have much to share at this time I will share this joke with everyone............................

My Christmas Day

Yesterday I spent the day doing nothing much except watching telly and searching for my camera which Leo had lost, this morning I was taking rubbish out to the bin and what do I see laying in the yard but my camera, I have been able to get the photos taken on Christmas Day from it but it will not take photos now as it got wet last night and the night before yes it was outside for two night........so now I will be asking hubby for a new camera I do not know what he will say about it somehow it will end up being my fault that the camera was left outside......................................

Ok it’s Christmas morning and forthe first time in what feels like ages I had a good night’s sleep and LittleLeo didn’t wake up till 7am which was good.

I had wanted to do a post yesterdaybut it took me 4 hours to get through reading and commenting on blogs with allthe interruptions so in the end I just didn’t feel like it………………lol

I have included some before andafter photos some taken last night and the after taken this morning after Leo hadopened his presents. He got a Christmas sack of toys and a small Christmasstocking of toys which when he saw the little one he told me he had to get thelittle one too as it all wouldn’t fit in the big one, he sounded so cute whenhe said it.

He also got presents for nanna & papa and of course from mummy,we do not let Santa get all the credit for presents………lol
